Smelter RKEF Engineer & Supervisor Job Vacancy Sulawesi 2026: CERIA

CERIA (Nickel Mining and Processing/RKEF Smelter) - National Strategic Project

Location: Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi (on a roster basis)

 

RELIABILITY ENGINEER

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a heavy industry or mineral processing environment (experience as a Project Engineer or Plant Engineer is preferred).
• RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance) certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge in mechanical system, rotating equipment, hydraulic system, electric furnace, dryer, kiln, conveyor and ERP system (Odoo, SAP, etc).
• Proven project management experience, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

OVERVIEW (Responsibilities):

• Responsible for preparing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating all reliability-related activities.
• Ensuring that plant equipment operates reliably.
• Provides technical support to both internal and external stakeholders within the smelter.

 

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, with a major in Power preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in smelter operations and construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems management and electrical engineering within RKEF smelter projects.
• Proven ability to solve issues related to electrical design, diagrams, engineering modifications, and other electrical engineering tasks in RKEF smelter operations.
• Possess management skills, a positive attitude, and strong interpersonal abilities.

OVERVIEW (Responsibilities):

• Oversees electrical engineering activities for the RKEF Smelter project.
• Reviews electrical designs, calculations, cost estimates, and contractor work.
• Supports the maintenance team in developing procedures and troubleshooting to ensure reliable electrical equipment operation.

 

FIELD SUPERVISOR ELECTRODE CASING

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Diploma (D3) in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fabrication or maintenance within the heavy industry.
• POP, Welder 6G and Fabrication, or Electrical Safety Technician (K3) certifications are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, QA/QC, precise measurement, and mechanical/electrical fabrication techniques.
• Familiarity with casing components, welding techniques, ultrasonic tools, and related fabrication/welding requirements, preferably within RKEF smelter operations.
• Good understanding of fabrication scheduling and budget planning.

OVERVIEW (Responsibilities):

• Responsible for supervising and coordinating all fabricated furnace electrode casing activities, from the fabrication shop to delivery at the furnace area and through to final installation.
• Ensuring that all processes are carried out in accordance with quality requirements, safety standards, and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
