GL Accountant
Location: Jakarta Office
About the role
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the month-end and year-end closing process, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role supports financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, record, and post daily/monthly/annual journal entries, fixed assets book and financial transactions
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank statements, and intercompany accounts to ensure accuracy
- Support the timely closing of books, including accruing expenses and validating data
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, while supporting internal/external audits
- Analyse account variances and financial data to ensure accuracy
Who we’re looking for?
- Have bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university
- Have 1 – 5 years of accounting experience, with solid knowledge of general ledger activities
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Have strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and reconciliation; proactive and can-do attitude
- Have good understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
- Have ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written
