SPECIALIST - SAFETY TRAINING & INFORMATION SYSTEM

(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:

• Develop & maintain HSE Training's application (training registration, scheduling, & quiz system).
• Develop & maintain HSE Training database.
• Develop & maintain others application as needed.
• Conduct HSE training management system to build and enhance HSE competencies of KPC employee & the contractors.
• Develop safety training programme materials such as training aids, slides, hand-outs, etc. in order to optimise the effectiveness and consistency of the safety competency development programme.
• Deliver the safety training for KPC and Contractors employees in order to raise skill and competency levels.
• Maintain high standards of safe practices and housekeeping during all training activities by acting as a role model in implementation and conducting safety training in a manner which will encourage and motivate trainees to learn.
• Monitor trainee progress and assess in learning during training sessions and provide appropriate feedback to ensure training objectives are being met.
• Demonstrate and encourage conformity to and implementation of HSE regulations, policies, rules and systems.
• Supervise and Implement Business & Performance Improvement within work unit.
• Implement activities as instruction to achieve efficient and optimum manner.
• Contribute to implementation of knowledge management within work unit by, e.g., performing coaching and knowledge sharing to peers.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from Information Technology with minimum 3 years' experience in Coal Mining Industry.
• Understand Health & Safety Management in safety practices on Coal Mining Industry with 3 years' experience.
• Facilitation skills, presentation skill, and time management.
• Competent training skills gained through formal Train the Trainer training and on the job coaching/experience.
• Initiative and the ability to conduct a systematic assessment on the effectiveness of communication medium.
• Excellent computer skills in Software Development Tools & MS Office.
• Excellent written and oral communication skill in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Initiative and the ability to conduct a systematic assessment on the effectiveness of communication medium.
• Able to work with a team.
• Good interpersonal and high initiative to learn independently to improve skills.
• Excellent in programming and trouble shooting.
