Senior Control Systems Engineer
(Jakarta)

Role Purpose:
To organize and control project elements in order to complete engineering projects in compliance with Company standards and procedures and Environment, Health and Safety regulations

General Accountabilities for All Employees

GENERAL
All employees are expected to be familiar with, and to follow at all times, all internal disciplinary rules and procedures and all policies and procedures of the Company. Key accountabilities and responsibilities as listed below are not meant to be exhaustive in nature. Employee may be required to perform duties or tasks that are not specifically listed below upon request of their immediate manager, as long as they are reasonable under the circumstances and within the employees ability and qualifications to do so safely.

1. People management

• Coordinates contractors and suppliers which are primarily related to control system engineering discipline.
• Ensures continuous development of skills and knowledge of subordinates for achieving safe and efficient work
• Delegates jobs and sets clear objectives
• Conducts performance review of direct subordinates
• Monitors the observance of procedures and ensures discipline

2. Engineering services

• Responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and/or maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control process plant systems, equipment and processes.
• Ensures that these systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
• Has skills in all specific control disciplines such advanced process control (APC), distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
• Has a good understanding of process plant instrumentation inclusive of automated valves with regard to selection, installation and calibration.
• Performs engineering investigations on existing and future plant and equipment.
• Develops, reviews and approves technical specifications and data sheets.
• Identifies and specifies scope of work packages
• Supervises, engineering resources
• Provides support to Discipline Engineers on plant systems and control equipment
• Involved in process plant commissioning (dry, wet and ore commissioning) and facilitates handover to site operations.
• Is required to perform the above works at the companies various project sites.

3. Compliance and control

• Ensures compliance with relevant statutory and government legislation, objectives and priorities for tasks undertaken

4. Process improvement

• Identifies opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies in the development and implementation of the capital works projects
• Prepares engineering proposals and solutions

5. Communication

• Interfaces with suppliers
• Liaises with contractors
• Ensures that Occupational, Health and Safety (OH&S) requirements are met for personal activities, and in relation to consultants and contractors engaged on projects

• Excellent knowledge of project execution principals and project management systems

Technical Skills

• Computer skillsMS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook

Education/Qualifications/Certificates

• University degree in electrical engineering

Experience (minimum)

• 10 years of experience as a Control Systems Engineer
• 5 years of experience as a Control Systems Engineer in the Mineral Processing Industry
• 3 years of experience as a Control Systems Engineering working on Gold Processing Plants
• 5 years of experience working with multiple disciplines projects
• Must have CITECT, ABB, Schneider, Siemens product experience

 

Electrical Engineer
(Jakarta)

Role Purpose:

• Works with the drafting team to develop and review electrical and instrumentation layouts, arrangement and detail drawings.
• Develops, reviews and approves technical specifications and data sheets.
• Identifies and specifies scope of work packages
• Evaluates and adjudicates (electrically) received bids and quotations for both mechanical and process equipment. Evaluates and adjudicates electrical and instrumentation construction scopes of work. Responsible for utilizing supplier information, cost standards, technical information from quality, manufacturing engineering, design engineering to form contractor selection.
• Creates cost estimates and/or bill of materials for project budgets and/or scope definition
• Drafts contract administration correspondence
• Provides support to Discipline Engineers on plant and equipment
• Involved in process plant commissioning (dry, wet and ore commissioning) and facilitates handover to site operations.
• Is required to occasionally perform the above works at the companies various project sites.

• Monitors projects cost activities to achieve an “in budget” results
• Schedules and monitors program activities to achieve an “on-time” result including follow-up with external suppliers to ensure timely response to action items
• Ensures justifications for contractual claims resolution and/or variations during projects implementation
• Recommends remedial actions to mitigate schedule delays, scope creeps and budget overruns
• Ensures compliance with relevant statutory and government legislation, objectives and priorities for tasks undertaken
• Directs document control and ensures compliance with internal document control procedures

4. Process improvement

• Identifies opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies in the development and implementation of the capital works projects
• Prepares engineering proposals and solutions

Senior Structural Engineer
(Jakarta)

Role Purpose
To complete civil and structural design for group engineering projects in compliance with Company standards and procedures and Environment, Health and Safety regulations

• Creates cost estimates and/or bill of materials for project budgets and/or scope definition
• Drafts contract administration correspondence
• Supervises engineering resources
• Provides support to Discipline Engineers on civil and structural design.
• Involved in process plant construction and facilitates handover to site commissioning team.
• Is required to occasionally perform the above works at the companies various project sites.

• Ensures compliance with relevant statutory and government legislation, objectives and priorities for tasks undertaken
• Directs document control and ensures compliance with internal document control procedures

4. Process improvement

• Identifies opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies in the development and implementation of the capital works projects
• Prepares engineering proposals and solutions

5. Communication

• Interfaces with suppliers
• Liaises with contractors
• Heads project meetings to collect and disseminate information pertaining to projects
• Ensures that Occupational, Health and Safety (OH&S) requirements are met for personal activities, and in relation to consultants and contractors engaged on projects

Experience (minimum)

• 12 years of experience as a Structural Engineer
• 6 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the Mineral Processing Industry
• 6 years of experience on a project work
• 8 years of experience as a design engineer
• 6 years of experience working with multiple disciplines projects
• 2 years of experience in supervising and directing contractors
• Experience on Gold Processing Plants
