PT. Bumi Suksesindo (BSI) is a subsidiary of the IDX listed company, Merdeka Copper Gold and owns the flagship Tujuh Bukit Project Project in the Banyuwangi region, East Java.

Exploration at the Tujuh Bukit has delineated a world class gold project; with an expected mine life of approximately 10 years. The initial phase of the project involves open pit mining and processing of the gold/silver rich oxide cap. At this time, we are commencing the construction on this project and aiming our first production at the end of 2016.

HRM Superintendent

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Reporting to the HR Manager, this position will oversee the delivery of human resources advice and support within the project. You will play a key role in the development and implementation of human resources initiatives in-line with the business strategy to promote an effective and harmonious work environment.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Degree qualification in a relevant discipline, e.g. Human Resources Management or Law
• At least 7 year(s) of experience in a supervisory role for Human Resources Department within mining industry
• Greenfield project experience is highly desirable 
• Strong knowledge in Labour Law and other related regulations coupled with hands-on exposure in a wide-ranging Human Resources Management functions

Security Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is based in our Tujuh Bukit Project, located in Pulau Merah, approximately 75km south of Banyuwangi, East Java.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role is is the leader for the delivery and assurance of security services to all stakeholders on site. You are required to maintain the current security plan but also adapt security tactics in accordance with the changing threat environment. You must also contribute to executive decision making so they may make informed decisions affecting the safety and security of personnel, equipment, facilities, processes and information.

The position will be responsible for managing and coordinating the application of security as a service vertical, for both tangible and intangible elements, measuring the results and effectiveness of each security process. You will also act as our primary security expert for internal and external communications.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Management of the daily contract security services delivery
• Security systems management, coordination and development
• Liaison and management of police/military personnel deployed in support of the site
• Ensuring a safe and secure work environment for employees and contractors
• Loss, disruption and damage prevention in support of ongoing commercial operations
• Routine reporting, quality assurance and standards maintenance with regards to security services delivery
• Proactively liaise and communicate with internal/external stakeholders in support of an on going information and intelligence sharing process
• Constantly monitor and manage security systems to prevent any disruption to operations or company value
• Create relationships with employees and demonstrate safe and effective security management standards
• Educate, inform and communicate on security threats, issues and preparedness/response capability

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Qualifications in a related field
• At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably Manager / Assistant Managers specializing in Security/Armed Forces/Protective Services or equivalent
• Past experience working on remote, developing projects coupled with proven experience in managing diverse and fragmented workforce elements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Bahasa and English

Security Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is based in our Tujuh Bukit Project, located in Pulau Merah, approximately 75km south of Banyuwangi, East Java.
Reporting to the Security Manager, this role is responsible for supervising the work of a security group comprised of 80s Security Staff and the contracted Security Service in the project, including the management of the administrative and budget affairs of the Security department.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supervise the day to day operations of Security Supervisors and the contract guard groups, for whom they are responsible, in controlling vehicles entering and exiting the property, patrolling areas, controlling traffic on company roads, investigations, searches, monitoring security systems and responding to alarms
• Liaison with managers of other departments in regards to their security requirements
• Prepare and implement security procedures, instructions and orders
• Establish and maintain close working relationships with senior police and military officials
• Supervise investigations of incidents that occur on PT BSI property, in conjunction with law enforcement officials when necessary, and keep supervisors apprised of findings
• Supervise training of new guards, schedule work assignments, administer employee discipline and perform employee evaluations
• Keep abreast of and ensure compliance with Indonesian Laws and Regulations regarding security matters as well as company policy

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Qualifications in a related field
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in security or law enforcement or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Preferably Supervisor/Coordinator specializing in Security/Armed Forces/Protective Services or equivalent
• Preferably have a proven record of good working relationships with related governmental agencies
• Good communication skills, both Bahasa and English
