COST CONTROL

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

Establish administrative controls and the key to achieving budget goals.

Requirements:

  1. Work flexible hours to accommodate job requirements
  2. Min. Diploma degree with 5 years experiences in accounting,
  3. Good analytical and supervisory skills
  4. Good communication in English
  5. Knowledge of best practices in workshop administration and procedures
  6. Ability to establish cost control monthly report
  7. Ability to operate computer and other office facilities
  8. Understand basic cost accounting

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible to set up Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for controlling and reporting in accordance with Company standard. The WBS will be reviewed and approved by Project Services Manager and Project Manager.
  2. Responsible to have and maintain appropriate administrative controls in place daily and monthly in accordance with Company procedures from award to completion, using the right data collected from all departments at site and off site.
  3. Responsible to prepare, review and approve the cost report for the Project Monthly Report in accordance with reporting deadlines.
  4. Assist the Project Manager in accurately forecasting cost and resources to ensure Project margins are met.
  5. Detecting and reporting discrepancies, defaults or non conformities in the Project Cost Forecast or records to the Project Manager as soon as they become known.
  6. Responsible to prepare Monthly Progress Claims and to ensure the subsequent invoice is submitted and payment received within the payment terms of the Contract
  7. Responsible to check that the cost codes on each MR are correct also check that the remaining budget for the cost code is sufficient to cover proposal purchase, ascertaining PO has been cover proposed costs are considered to be committed and refer to the budget.
  8. Extracts Commitments from the Group procurement and sub-contracting systems
  9. Extracts Incurred Costs (Actuals and Accruals) from the group Accounting Systems
  10. Continually monitor all commitments and expenditures on a real-time basis
  11. Responsible to review and confirm that Subcontractor invoices are as per Contract terms & conditions for the further payment process
  12. Responsible to clarify regarding the payment status with Subcontractor.

 

EARTHWORK FOREMAN

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

To lead and supervise all earthwork jobs for maintenance and new works all area in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  1. Min. Diploma degree, preferably from Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  2. Min. 3 years professional experience and certified Earthwork Company preferable
  3. Have strong leadership to supervise and manage, including disciplinary action if required
  4. Able to develop and encourage subordinates, motivate by respect and avoid favouritism
  5. Ability to communicate effectively with Clients, subordinates, superiors and other third parties related to the Project
  6. Able to communicate verbally in English
  7. Understand HSE principle in all aspect of Base Operation
  8. Must be available for on-call duty in emergency situations
  9. Willing to work extended hours to meet project targets

Responsibilities:

  1. Attend Pre shift handover meeting and take a note to prioritizing work base on MSR list
  2. Pro actively to have a positive feedback & questions during handover shift meeting
  3. Daily walk patrol to maintain housekeeping & Safety issues finding
  4. Enforce to riggers to consistently checking lifting tools and ensure it is has valid color code, ID, SWL, and proper certification.
  5. Rejecting any lifting equipments which do not comply with offshore standard requirements.
  6. Arrange manpower and determine proper equipment for the work purpose.
  7. Provide JHA and Risk Assessment for non routine operation and conduct PTO for the task being executed when required.
  8. Ensure all of control stated in the JHA and/or Risk Assessment is implemented and right to stop the job if identified is unsafe.
  9. Choose on the most efficient, safest and cost effective method of moving, loading, and unloading materials as per WI/Procedures.
  10. Providing the rigger/operator prior to starting the job with appropriate PPE.
  11. Ensure all rigger, operator and signalman have been traineed and certified on equipment being used.
  12. Ensure all person involved in the job has been received socialization of Appropriate JHA and SOP prior to work executed.
  13. Accurately record all equipment and labour hours.
  14. Ensure that only properly qualified & authorised personnel operate equipment.
  15. To assist supervisor to supervise & monitor all lifting and transport activities.
  16. Ensure all operators complete pre-start check sheet, closely monitor these sheets.
  17. Work with supervisor to arrange operator / rigger manpower.
  18. Lead on attendance and time keeping.
  19. Distribute office information to operator / rigger.
  20. Maintain a high level of housekeeping.
  21. Ensure that all equipment is used in accordance with its inherent design capability.
  22. Ensure equipment is not operated with a known defect that is or could be detrimental to safe operation.
  23. Ensure equipment defects are reported and were removed from work area.
  24. Leadership: Leading by example to improve workforce’s time keeping and discipline
  25. Attend and participate in :
    1. Pre – Start Briefing
    2. Daily Handover Meeting
    3. Weekly HSE Toolbox Meeting
    4. Site Safety Inspection
  26. Maintain a high level of housekeeping.
  27. Maintain full compliance to POSB Waste Segregation Policy.
  28. Reduces energy consumption in area of responsibility by eliminating the unnecessary use of resources; water and power.
  29. Identify any environmental issues in area of area responsibility (regular audit schedule).

 

EARTHWORK SUPERINTENDENT

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

Monitor and control Earthworks resources (people and equipment) in field operation in term of support construction manager to ensure production is achieved in accordance with project parameters, project schedule, budget, in compliance with company’s project safety and environmental policy.

Requirements:

  1. Good understanding & implementation of earthwoks methods
  2. Creative thinking and ability to manage the work systems
  3. Min. senior high school
  4. Min. 5 years experiences as Electrical & Instrument Supervisor
  5. Good leadership

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor, control and supervise labor in a day to day basis, direct subcontract, and all non-labor resources in order to ensure project completed on schedule, conform with the standard of quality specified.
  2. Provide leadership and direction to all Earthworks operations team including monitor their performance in order to maintain and enhance team performance.
  3. Monitor and control the implementation of Earthworks plan and manage that all necessary resources are available at site in order to meet the construction schedule through regular construction meetings.
  4. Understanding the basics of the project budget, monitor and control the Earthworks budget to ensure that costs do not exceed budget.
  5. Initiates, develops and improve the implementation of construction methodology and equipment utilization to improve efficiency.
  6. Review client specifications and drawings to ensure the requirements defined are incorporated into the work.
  7. Support and assist the Project Safety Superintendent in actively promoting a safety culture and awareness in order to enhance safety awareness among personnel and prevent LTI.
  8. Discuss pertinent topics at daily pre-start meetings and weekly toolbox meetings in order to Provide a safe and healthy work environment
  9. Provide Construction Manager and Project Manager with construction schedules, cost forecasts and progress statistics in order to updated current situation.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

Maintain, monitor and review all environmental issue in company’s project locations to ensure that all company’s operation are harmless and harmonious with the environment conform with company’s HSE policies, government environmental regulation and client requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Required travelling to all company’s sites
  2. Min. Bachelor degree, preferably in HSE / Environmental Engineer
  3. ISO 14001 certified
  4. Min. 2 years experiences in environmental / HSE
  5. Good communication / presentation skill

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement and maintain an Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for company’s sites in order to meet the requirements of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System for the company, client and regulatory authorities.
  2. Conduct and review monthly internal audits in term of procedure applied for both internal and subcontractors, as well as support quarterly audit to establish the compliance position of the site against statutory requirements and the EMS.
  3. Maintain and review EMP & EMS as necessary on a regular basis to ensure the effectiveness for the operation and meets changing requirements.
  4. Develop and implement procedures for site’s environmental management in order to establish standard work instruction for each division in term of environmental management.
  5. Promote level of environmental awareness among the workforce, contractors and suppliers by provide training to ensure the awareness of their environmental responsibility and comply with Company’s HSE policies.
  6. Support Environmental performance and maintain third party accreditation (ie. ISO 14001) and work effectively with certification body in order to preserve international standard accreditation.
  7. Prepare and submit statutory and internal reports required by company and/or clients as a reference for determine their next operation plan in term of environmental issue.
  8. Provide support and assistance to project staff in term of EMS implementation to ensure all complaint, incident investigation and reporting requirements are meet so that problems recognized and resolved
  9. Performing a strong visible commitment in to HSE Management System as well as all programs.

 

MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

Monitor and supervise site mechanical activities to ensure such activities are conducted in a safe and timely manner conform with quality of work is of a standard that optimises availability.

Requirements:

  1. Work flexible hours to accommodate job requirements
  2. Min. Diploma degree with 5 years experiences in engineering area
  3. Good analytical and supervisory skills
  4. Good communication in English
  5. Possess broad knowledge in mechanical system

Responsibilities:

  1. Exercise, direct, and ensure a safe work environment in the work area at all times; and ensure all store business work processes and activities are all done in safe works practices.
  2. Develop and follow JSA’s for all tasks
  3. Assist Project Engineer with the development of a work schedule including parts, materials and manpower to be incorporated in the MOS short term detailed execution plans
  4. Prepare and submit the regular report required by BMP to ensure report is submitted in timely manner.
  5. Supervise Foremen activities to ensure work is technically correct and performed in a safe and cost effective manner
  6. Examine and investigate all variances from target to avoid bigger lost in both cost and time consumed.
  7. Monitor PM schedule implementation to ensure all PM scheduled work is completed in accordance with work instructions and schedules
  8. Proactively identify defects and register them via work requests in order to have an appropriate and prompt action.
  9. Diagnose failure symptoms and determine maintenance of mechanical system requirements necessary to effectively and efficiently rectify them
  10. Review client specifications, drawings and documents and ensure the requirements defined are incorporated in the works.
  11. Coordinate design / drawing activities to ensure efficient production of engineering drawings to meet contract programme requirements.
  12. Develop and determine work procedure, work load balance , and also coordinate work unit with other unit.
  13. Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements

 

PROJECT CONTROL COORDINATOR

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

Direct, control and coordinate the project management team in maintaining timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems to ensure that all project management activities are well manage, conform with budget and company’s regulations and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Min. Bachelor degree in any diciplines
  2. Min. 10 years experiences as cost controler, scheduller, project control
  3. Fluent with project control programs such as PRISM, WBS, etc.
  4. Strong leadership.
  5. Analytical thinking.

Responsibilities:

  1. Direct and monitor the Supervise Project Cost Engineer & Planner in the development of Project Budgets, Schedule and Estimates to ensure all project activities are well delivered, on schedule and conform with company’s procedures.
  2. Monitor and coordinate the creation / modification of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and budget data (including resource loading) for those WBS elements in order to ensure budget conformity.
  3. Monitor and analyse project schedule progress and performance in order to identifies developing problem areas.
  4. Review and analyse critical path and restrains to determine the effect of change to the schedule.
  5. Provide advise to top management of risks that may affect project profit, cost, schedules and client relations in order to develop and deliver the company’s further plan.
  6. Coordinate and liase with construction project controls personnel in developing Project Controls Information (construction schedules, cost) in order to integrate data into the overall project cost & schedule reports.
  7. Develop and maintain of any periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) status reports (include labour productivity, schedule status, financial analysis, Cost Performance Reports (CPR) and earned value curves reports on either direct or indirect engineering/construction activities) in order to keep management and/or owner informed on the project progress.
  8. Lead, coach and manage subordinate including recruitment and provide a proper development plan for them in order to maintain subordinate in attract, motive and retain.
  9. Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.

 

PROJECT ENGINEER - CIVIL

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

Control and monitor the execution of a Project (or section of a Project) including the liaison and control between Engineering/Procurement/Construction to ensure that all materials and services that are purchased, fabricated, and constructed are delivered on time and in strict accordance with the approved project specifications and accepted industry codes, as well as providing specific solutions to constructability or interface (clash) issues during the construction phase.

Requirements:

  1. Proven track record of performing a Project Engineers role in projects in the Mineral Sector that also encompasses a multi-cultural workforce with the use of International Subcontractors.
  2. Willing to work extended hours to meet with Project deadlines
  3. Required to work onsite in extreme remote areas with limited facilities
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction management principles and practices. Must possess an in depth knowledge of the Engineering and Design process as well as extensive experience in construction methods.
  5. Requires multitasking capabilities (project engineering, scheduling, budgeting, etc)
  6. Ability to supervise and evaluate the work of subordinates.
  7. Maximise Project margins by ensuring appropriate Technical Specifications and Codes are adopted and followed by all Vendors and Fabricators to ensure the design life integrity is achieved.
  8. Minimise re-work by being involved in constructability reviews.
  9. Provide assistance to startup and commissioning team
  10. Min. Bachelor degree in Engineering
  11. Min. 3 years previous experiences as Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

  1. Be fully conversant with the contents of the Project Safety Management Plans and the Company policies on safety. Ensure that Safety topics are discussed with all Vendors/Subcontractors/Fabricators prior to award and be vigilant in enforcing the agreed standards.
  2. Be fully conversant with all Project Management Plans and all Company procedures. Enforce the use of the procedures and immediately identify any non compliances with the Project Manager.
  3. Ensure all technical specifications and industry codes are strictly enforced by all Vendors and subcontractors.
  4. Manage and efficiently close out all Technical Queries that are raised by all partners including Vendors, Subcontractors, and Construction personnel. Maintain a TQ status report to track all TQ’s.
  5. Promote a Teamwork environment to get all members of the Team providing input to each situation. Take ownership of solutions and promote a positive reward culture.
  6. Develop a Team to handle all Project Engineering activities. Prepare Position Descriptions for the team members and lead them to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner and with efficiency.
  7. Manage the interface between Procurement and Engineering to ensure that Technical Bid Evaluations are prepared on a timely basis. Liaise with Vendors (via consultation with the Procurement Manager) as necessary to ensure that all technical aspects are dealt with prior to the award of work to Vendors and subcontractors. Attend the Kick-off meeting for all major orders.
  8. Monitor the Project schedule and the schedule of Vendors/Fabricators and advise the Project Manager when issues are evident or likely to be reported incorrectly.
  9. Liaise closely with the Construction Manager and be involved with all constructability reviews during Project start-up.
  10. Liaise with the Quality Manager to ensure all Vendors are adhering to the approved Project specifications and codes. Raise issues as they arise and assist with the close-out of NCR’s.
  11. Be commercially aware. Review the scope of work documents for all subcontracts and procured items to ensure that variations will be minimised. Liaise with the Project Services Manager for all issues surrounding the assessment of Variations by the project partners.

 

PROJECT PLANNER

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

To be fully accountable and responsible for planning and scheduling of the entire project scope to ensure that a) works are effectively sequenced and resourced, b) that upsets / opportunities are identified early so effective actions can be implemented, and c) provides support to claims preparation and review.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of performing a Planners role in projects in multidisciplinary EPC projects encompassing a multi-cultural workforce with the use of International Subcontractors.
  • Willing to work extended hours to meet with Project deadlines
  • Required to work onsite (and have experience in) in extreme remote areas with limited facilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of planning principles and practices. Must possess an in depth knowledge of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction process as well as extensive experience in construction methods.
  • Requires multitasking capabilities (project engineering, scheduling, budgeting, commercial, etc.)
  • Ability to supervise and evaluate the work of subordinates.
  • Maximise project margins by ensuring all EPC works are resourced and sequenced

  9. Be commercially aware. Review the scope of work documents for all subcontracts and procured items to ensure that variations will be minimised. Liaise with the Project Services Manager for all issues surrounding the assessment of Variations by the project partners.

 

QUANTITY SURVEYOR

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

Manages and ensure all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. Seek to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.

Requirements:

  1. Min Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferable in civil engineering
  2. Min. 3 years experiences as a quantity surveyor or related with commercial/project cost controller/cost planner
  3. Good knowledge of construction methods and materials
  4. May be required to work flexible hours to suit Project requirements
  5. Good communication & negotiation skill, budget handling skill
  6. Willing to be placed in all project

Responsibilities:

  1. Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the relevant parties (ex: architect or client)
  2. Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks, performing risk, value management and cost control
  3. Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
  4. Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
  5. Providing advice on contractual claims and procurement strategy to resolve disputes between clients, designers and building contractors
  6. Analyzing outcomes and create detailed progress reports
  7. Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements
