We are currently taking applicants for the following position:

 

CIVIL ENGINEER

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

Monitor, control and supervise all civil engineering works, produce accurate and complex engineering calculations and documents to ensure all output are accurate and in a timely manner conform with International Engineering and Safety Standards and codes.

Requirements:

  1. Min. Bachelor degree in Engineering
  2. Min. 5 years experiences in Civil Design office
  3. Strong Work extended hours to meet Engineering deadlines
  4. Able to support estimating and feasibility studies as required
  5. Familiar with Civil Engineering Software (Terramodel)

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and review all civil work and document to ensure all work adheres to international Engineering standards and codes as well as company’s management system.
  2. Prepare and conduct complex Civil Engineering calculations in order to produce calculations of consistent accuracy.
  3. Prepare and evaluate RFQ (Request for Quotations) packages and conduct TBE (Technical Bid Evaluations) in order to ensure RFQ’s and TBE’s accuracy and consistency.
  4. Monitor and review the preparation of CTR’s (Contribution to Ratios) and provide input into scheduling in order to ensure CTR’s accuracy.
  5. Operate and control civil engineering software packages and evaluate output (Terramodel) to suggesting changes and improvement where needed.
  6. Provide technical support and technical guidance to associate engineer and personnel in order to conduct transfer of knowledge.

 

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

Direct, monitor and control the construction activities of a project in order to ensure that it is completed on time and to the total satisfaction of the client whilst achieving tender profit margins and meeting the safety and quality expectations of the company.

Requirements:

  1. Willing to Work extended hours to ensure project completion on time.
  2. Min. 10 years previous experiences in construction
  3. Computer literate, including knowledge of computerized architectural data bases and/or CAD drawing systems.
  4. Organizational, supervisory and negotiating skills.
  5. Analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills.
  6. Ability to maintain accurate and detail records.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and monitor the works through a detailed level III programme and accurately record actual progress against the critical path activities to ensure that programme and reported progress position are consistently accurate.
  2. Direct, control and monitor the implementation of management strategy in the construction activities in order to optimises company’s position on the project within the terms of the contract.
  3. Control, monitor and liaise with the financial management of the project to ensure targeted profitability is achieved and potential for profitability is maximised.
  4. Lead, manage and coordinate Construction Engineers and Superintendents in control of all labour and plant resources in order to achieve the construction schedule and the project safety and quality requirements on the site.
  5. Develop and maintain relationship with the client to ensure that the project is undertaken in a cooperative manner.
  6. Coordinate and liaise with Project Manager in representing the company in all meetings and matters pertaining to the contract with respect to the client and any third party to ensure all matters discussed are meet the best solution.
  7. Develop, support and liaise with Project Control team with the project programming, weekly progress assessment and reporting function to ensure all report and assessment are accurate in timely manner
  8. Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements

 

COST CONTROL

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

Establish administrative controls and the key to achieving budget goals.

Requirements:

  1. Work flexible hours to accommodate job requirements
  2. Min. Diploma degree with 5 years experiences in accounting,
  3. Good analytical and supervisory skills
  4. Good communication in English
  5. Knowledge of best practices in workshop administration and procedures
  6. Ability to establish cost control monthly report
  7. Ability to operate computer and other office facilities
  8. Understand basic cost accounting

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible to set up Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for controlling and reporting in accordance with Company standard. The WBS will be reviewed and approved by Project Services Manager and Project Manager.
  2. Responsible to have and maintain appropriate administrative controls in place daily and monthly in accordance with Company procedures from award to completion, using the right data collected from all departments at site and off site.
  3. Responsible to prepare, review and approve the cost report for the Project Monthly Report in accordance with reporting deadlines.
  4. Assist the Project Manager in accurately forecasting cost and resources to ensure Project margins are met.
  5. Detecting and reporting discrepancies, defaults or non conformities in the Project Cost Forecast or records to the Project Manager as soon as they become known.
  6. Responsible to prepare Monthly Progress Claims and to ensure the subsequent invoice is submitted and payment received within the payment terms of the Contract
  7. Responsible to check that the cost codes on each MR are correct also check that the remaining budget for the cost code is sufficient to cover proposal purchase, ascertaining PO has been cover proposed costs are considered to be committed and refer to the budget.
  8. Extracts Commitments from the Group procurement and sub-contracting systems
  9. Extracts Incurred Costs (Actuals and Accruals) from the group Accounting Systems
  10. Continually monitor all commitments and expenditures on a real-time basis
  11. Responsible to review and confirm that Subcontractor invoices are as per Contract terms & conditions for the further payment process
  12. Responsible to clarify regarding the payment status with Subcontractor.

 

CSR OFFICER

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

Execute and maintain CSR programs for the company and develop sustainable links with local stakeholders (community, local government, NGO, etc) in term of assisting CSR Coordinator to ensure the sustainability of company’s licence to operate.

Requirements:

  1. Min. Bachelor degree from any major, preferably in Public Relation or Communication
  2. Min. 2 years working experiences in related field
  3. Deep understanding of community initiative subject
  4. A self driven person and result oriented.
  5. Good command in English both verbal & written.

Responsibilities:

  1. Mapping the priority stakeholders in areas in which the company operates in order to design the appropriate programs that suitable with stakeholders needs.
  2. Execute develop communications plans and materials, including web content, press releases and articles as well as organise several annual and special networking events and informal ceremonies involving the beneficiaries to ensure that CSR programs has been socialized and communicated well.
  3. Coordinate and liase with Project Management in delivering corporate social programs to ensure corporate social programs run smoothly.
  4. Establish and maintain relationship and communication with local community and local government in order to keep peace and harmonious relationship.
  5. Develop ways to measure, learn from and improve impact; monitor progress of partnerships or delivered programs, and report to founder and board on a regular basis to ensure programs effectiveness
  6. Prepare and propose CSR budget for each site location and for tendering purposes in order to ensure all budgets are meet the objectives.

 

DOCUMENT CONTROLLER

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

Prepare and maintain Engineering documentation in order to ensure all documents are well manage and conform with Engineering and Quality procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Min. High School Graduate
  2. Having min 2 years exp in related area
  3. Able to used computer program
  4. May be required to work extended hours to meet reporting deadlines
  5. May be required to travel to site
  6. Attention to details

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and maintain all documents/drawings in the Quality Document Management System in order to ensure all Engineering documentations are well manage
  2. Conduct physical distribution of documents and receipt of transmittals to ensure all documents are distributed in timely manner
  3. Maintain hard copies in the prescribed manner

 

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

Maintain, monitor and review all environmental issue in company’s project locations to ensure that all company’s operation are harmless and harmonious with the environment conform with company’s HSE policies, government environmental regulation and client requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Required travelling to all company’s sites
  2. Min. Bachelor degree, preferably in HSE / Environmental Engineer
  3. ISO 14001 certified
  4. Min. 2 years experiences in environmental / HSE
  5. Good communication / presentation skill

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement and maintain an Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for company’s sites in order to meet the requirements of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System for the company, client and regulatory authorities.
  2. Conduct and review monthly internal audits in term of procedure applied for both internal and subcontractors, as well as support quarterly audit to establish the compliance position of the site against statutory requirements and the EMS.
  3. Maintain and review EMP & EMS as necessary on a regular basis to ensure the effectiveness for the operation and meets changing requirements.
  4. Develop and implement procedures for site’s environmental management in order to establish standard work instruction for each division in term of environmental management.
  5. Promote level of environmental awareness among the workforce, contractors and suppliers by provide training to ensure the awareness of their environmental responsibility and comply with Company’s HSE policies.
  6. Support Environmental performance and maintain third party accreditation (ie. ISO 14001) and work effectively with certification body in order to preserve international standard accreditation.
  7. Prepare and submit statutory and internal reports required by company and/or clients as a reference for determine their next operation plan in term of environmental issue.
  8. Provide support and assistance to project staff in term of EMS implementation to ensure all complaint, incident investigation and reporting requirements are meet so that problems recognized and resolved
  9. Performing a strong visible commitment in to HSE Management System as well as all programs.

 

PROJECT PLANNER

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

To be fully accountable and responsible for planning and scheduling of the entire project scope to ensure that a) works are effectively sequenced and resourced, b) that upsets / opportunities are identified early so effective actions can be implemented, and c) provides support to claims preparation and review.

Requirements:

  1. Proven track record of performing a Planners role in projects in multidisciplinary EPC projects encompassing a multi-cultural workforce with the use of International Subcontractors.
  2. Willing to work extended hours to meet with Project deadlines
  3. Required to work onsite (and have experience in) in extreme remote areas with limited facilities
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of planning principles and practices. Must possess an in depth knowledge of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction process as well as extensive experience in construction methods.
  5. Requires multitasking capabilities (project engineering, scheduling, budgeting, commercial, etc.)
  6. Ability to supervise and evaluate the work of subordinates.
  7. Maximise project margins by ensuring all EPC works are resourced and sequenced
  8. Minimise re-work by being involved in constructability reviews.
  9. Min. Bachelor degree in Engineering
  10. Min. 5 years previous experience as Project Planner (10 preferred)
  11. Highly computer literate: Primavera P3, MS Access + Office Suite

Responsibilities:

  1. Be fully conversant with the contents of the Project Safety Management Plans and the Company policies on safety. Ensure that Safety topics are discussed with all Vendors/Subcontractors/Fabricators prior to award and be vigilant in enforcing the agreed standards.
  2. Be fully conversant with all Project Management Plans and all Company procedures. Enforce the use of the procedures and immediately identify any non-compliance with the Project Manager.
  3. Ensure all technical specifications and industry codes are strictly enforced by all Vendors and subcontractors.
  4. The development of a detailed project schedule based on the project requirements and incorporating the relevant internal / external data.
  5. Manage and co-ordinate all Project planning activities including forecasting, progress measurement, reality / accuracy checks,
  6. Promote a Teamwork environment to get all members of the Team providing input to each situation. Take ownership of solutions and promote a positive reward culture.
  7. Develop a Team to handle all Project Planning activities. Prepare Position Descriptions for the team members and lead them to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner and with efficiency.
  8. Liaise closely with the E+P+C Managers and be involved with all constructability reviews during Project start-up.
  9. Be commercially aware. Review the scope of work documents for all subcontracts and procured items to ensure that variations will be minimised. Liaise with the Project Services Manager for all issues surrounding the assessment of Variations by the project partners.

 

PROJECT MANAGER

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

Plan, direct and control a project from the date of award to the issue of a practical completion certificate and ideally be involved until end of the maintenance period to ensure a project is running well, completed on time and to budget in accordance with all the company standard procedures and to the total satisfaction of the clients.

Requirements:

  1. Willing to work extended hours to meet the deadline
  2. Min. 12 years previous experiences in construction and engineering
  3. Min. Bachelor Degree, preferably in Engineering
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and construction management principles and practices and the associated flow of design and construction project management
  5. Ability to recognize potential claims and manage project contract activities to avoid costly claims and litigation
  6. Ability to supervise and evaluate the work of subordinates
  7. Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
  8. Ability to develop and maintain effective monitoring and control systems and carry them to the intended conclusions to meet Agency goals for the program.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and control the flow of work for a construction project, including estimating time, supplies and personnel required for completing the project to ensure that projects are being carried out according to established plan.
  2. Direct, control and execute the Project by conducting a kick off meeting with the Project Team, assign duties and responsibilities as detailed in the functional matrix in order to ensure project initial are well manage.
  3. Direct, review and analyse client specifications and documents to ensure the requirements defined are incorporated into the works and the responsibilities allocated under the project quality system are understood and implemented.
  4. Prepare, control and implement project budets, construction schedules, project reporting, progress assessment and project execution plan, take personal responsibility and accountability for cash flow, receivables and return on capital of the project to ensure budget are meet with operational needs and requirements.
  5. Interface and coordinate subcontract activities to ensure that they will support the achievement of project aims and the support of company construction objectives
  6. Direct, monitor and utilize company’s equipment efficiently, maintain schedule compliance on planned maintenance and reduce cost as appropriate in order to optimize asset utilization.
  7. Direct, submit and negotiate claims to settlement as required to ensure that progress claims are submitted and paid in a timely manner
  8. Plan, analyse and establish detailed cost forecasts, manage variations in order to close out to maximise returns in a timely manner
  9. Direct, control and manage all statutory permits and approvals as required to proceed with the contract to ensure all permits and formalities are complete and valid.
  10. Establish to maintain and manage all stakeholders interests to ensure harmonious and cooperative relationships in industrial relations, community relations and staff welfare in all aspects of the project
  11. Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.

 

QUANTITY SURVEYOR

(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)

Manages and ensure all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. Seek to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.

Requirements:

  1. Min Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferable in civil engineering
  2. Min. 3 years experiences as a quantity surveyor or related with commercial/project cost controller/cost planner
  3. Good knowledge of construction methods and materials
  4. May be required to work flexible hours to suit Project requirements
  5. Good communication & negotiation skill, budget handling skill
  6. Willing to be placed in all project

Responsibilities:

  1. Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the relevant parties (ex: architect or client)
  2. Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks, performing risk, value management and cost control
  3. Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
  4. Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
  5. Providing advice on contractual claims and procurement strategy to resolve disputes between clients, designers and building contractors
  6. Analyzing outcomes and create detailed progress reports
  7. Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements
