PT Multi Harapan Utama (PT MHU) is the coal mining company was established since 1986 as PKP2B (Perjanjian Kontrak Karya Pengusahaan Pertambangan Batubara). Our concessions area in Samarinda and Kutai Kertanegara (East Kalimantan). We are seeking for qualified and highly motivated candidates from multiple disciplines to join into experienced team in a fast paced environment.

Emergency Response Officer – Occ. Health & Safety Dept.

(Code: LEROHS)

Placed: Samarinda Office

Main Accountabilities;

• Develop and periodically review the work procedures, work instructions, JSA, and related tools  Emergency Response Plan and Preparedness in all regions of the company
• Socialize the program and plan of Emergency Response and Preparedness throughout the region the company to the relevant departments and
• Assist the department to prepare the Emergency Response Team to support the operation.
• Prepare and implement warning signs and symbols associated with Emergency Response.
• Transfer the knowledge of the Emergency Response Plan through socialization training, safety talk and Health & Safety Briefings to all employees.
• Develop the planning and ensure the inspection for equipment and supplies Emergency Response regularly conducted and reported it.
• Assist the supply of data to weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual report related to the activities included in the Emergency Response and RKAB RKTTL.
• Participate in conducting periodic risk assessment of the work area and the work
• Participate in the process of socialization and learning for the communities around the mine associated with the program Community Development concerning aspects of the prevention and handling emergencies.
• Installing and complementary Emergency Response equipment on company facility.
• Ensure all Emergency Response equipment in good condition
• Contribute to identify the need for mitigation of emergencies.
• Create and designing simulations of an emergency in the area of company
• Compliance documentation & reporting regularly

Requirements;

• Minimum Diploma Degree Engineering, preferably Bachelor Degree Engineering
• Having minimum 1-3 years experience as Emergency Response in mining company
• Having Certified POP
• Having Certified SAR (Search & Rescue)
• Having Certified AK3 Umum is Preferably
• Member or Captain of Emergency Response Team
• Proficient in Ms Office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skill, proactive, able to work under pressure
• Highly motivated and able to work as a part of a team and individually

Safety System & Reporting Supervisor – Occ. Health & Safety Dept.

Placed: Samarinda Office

Main Accountabilities;

• Ensure that the processing of making Mine License / Permit within shortest possible time, a maximum of 2 x 24 hours for each submission.
• Identify the need to enhance management systems and operational control in the field.
• Organize, socialize and provide training related to the health & safety either company employees or contractors.
• Prepare OHS performance reports based on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual.
• Handling health & safety induction to employees, sub-contractors and guests
• Contribute to the review of the existing management system MSMS
• Involved in the investigation of accidents involving company employees, and or contractor (if appointed)
• Involve in inspections and observations of  workplace both in the mines and in the office
• Assist in develop implementation system program and regulatory of health & safety for all locations of the company.
• Monitoring progress and ensure corrective actions have been carried out as a finding in workplace Inspection and Observation.
• Provide guidance and socialization of regulations, manuals, systems, and Health & Safety Procedure applicable in the MHU.
• Participate in progress monitoring the follow-up of findings by the government in the framework of guidance and supervision based on Mines Book.
• Engage in K3 and P2K3LKK meetings with related departments
• Ensure the ordering of goods and equipment as required of OHS department
• Ensure all accident investigations or examinations have been carried out in order to get the root cause.
• Making an analysis of accident occurrence to facilitate decision-making in the company's management strategy.
• Make the promotion of health and safety continuously

Requirements;

• Minimum Diploma Degree of Engineering, preferably Bachelor Degree Engineering
• Having minimum 2-3 years experience as Safety Officer in mining company
• Having Certified POP
• Having Certified Train For the Trainer
• Reporting skill and filing system
• Proficient to operate computer with several program that can support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skill, proactive, able to work under pressure
• Highly motivated and able to work as a part of a team and individually
