COMMERCIAL & RISK MANAGER
(Placement: Jakarta)
Direct, coordinate and control the implementation of all commercial responsibilities (company and government regulations, legal compliance and contract document adherence to the values and policies of company) in regard to formal relationships between company stakeholders, divisions, end users and clients to ensure that all exposure to commercial risk are minimised.
Requirements:
- Should have the ability and flexibility to respond to short term requirements which will involve travel and extended work hours
- Broad knowledge on Industry or associated industry knowledge, commercial law, contracts, procurement, logistics, general management, industry standards & regulations, business management
- Min. 10 years of exposure to attributes
- Good analytical and attention to details
Responsibilities:
- Develop and analyse contract strategies in conjunction with external commercial and legal expertise to ensure all contracts are manage on a controlled basis.
- Review and analyse all new contract wins, including the tendering to ensure maximum profits/margins can be established.
- Develop and maintain a standard set contract documents in conjunction with Contract Engineers in order to meet all corporate and divisional contracting guidelines.
- Monitor and advice in the tender review process of all tenders and proposals undertaken by the division to ensure that the process is comply with company’s procedures.
- Monitor and liaise with the Audit Manager to ensure commercial functional audits are performed within projects and any NCR’s are addressed and closed out.
- Monitor and review the process of risk management and insurance requirements within the division including preparation of risk profiles to ensure compliancy with commercial guidelines.
- Lead, coach and manage subordinate including recruitment and provide a proper development plan for them in order to maintain subordinate in attract, motive and retain.
COMMERCIAL OFFICER
(Assignment: Jakarta)
Prepare, monitor and maintain commercial administration database in order to support commercial department in delivering an efficient commercial process and eventually to contribute the success of project function.
Requirements:
- Ability to work to meet deadlines
- Min. Bachelor degree all major
- Min. 2 years experiences in sub contract/commercial
- Attention to detail
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
- Excellent computer skill, especially in Microsoft Office and Internet
Responsibilities:
- Contract Administration :
- Develop and maintain a running log of contractual correspondences
- Develop and maintain the status of head contract monitoring
- In collaboration with A/R team, to monitor the back log status of client account
- Contract Filing:
- Develop and maintain hard copy and electronic main contract filing system including internal and external correspondence such as letter from and to Owner, supporting documents of Contract such as Bid Letters, Quotations, and other relevant documents (e.g insurance policies, performance bond, etc.) and as well as document confidentiality in order to ensure all contract document are well managed and administered in accordance with Petrosea procedures.
- Contract Issuance:
- Print out the contract, do a thorough review on the completeness of the contract and spelling check, circulate, monitor, and get approval from authorized parties.
- Register all Main Contract Documents with Owner
- Contract with Subcontractor and Vendor in Mining Contract Registration List in order to provide contract administration support.
- Contract Validity :
- Monitor life time of the all contracts and reporting all outstanding Contracts process every Monday in order to maintain contract validity.
DEPUTY PROJECT MANAGER
(Site Based)
Proactively support the Project Manager to plan, direct and control the Project to ensure all Project related activities are conducted SAFELY, to the required Petrosea standards, on time and ahead of budget, whilst fostering an atmosphere of Zero Incidents and Continuous Improvement to promote the ongoing success of Petrosea.
Requirements:
- Possess the potential to develop into a PTP Mine Project Manager
- Min. Bachelor degree in mining or sufficient experience to provide the necessary expertise
- Holder of POM (minimum) / POU (preferred)
- Min. ten years previous experience in supervising mining operations (production) and a demonstrable understanding of sound mining practices and mining equipment.
- Min. five years in managerial position on a mining project
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, written and verbal
- Good computer skills, familiar with mining and mine planning software
- Good communication and strong leadership skills
- Ability to work in a Team environment under pressure
- Willing to be placed in any company location. Able to work in a remote location on Roster arrangements
- Ability to understand and protect PTP’s commercial interests
- Good understanding of Mine infrastructure requirements
- Willing to be placed in any Company location and to work flexible hours to meet Project requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Direct responsibility for Engineering and Production operations on the Project. DPM shall direct and control all Engineering and Production functions on Site to optimise production, utilisation and cost for all mining operations on Site, without sacrificing safety or standards of work.
- Review and coordinate all mine planning activities with Client personnel
- Foster a culture of Zero Incidents and Continuous Improvements. DPM is responsible for safety within the mining areas of the Project.
- Assume responsibilities and authorities of the PM during PM absence.
- Proactively support the Project Manager in maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs and conformance to official standards and requirements.
- In coordination with the PM, allocate, manage and optimise resources (including personnel) to maximise returns and ensure continuity of operations.
- Plan and control water management activities to ensure minimal interruptions to mining.
- Support PM with the mobilisation and establishment of the Project, including any fleet and infrastructure expansion that may be required during the Project (including the build-up of personnel in accordance with approved organisation charts).
- Actively support the PM in the control and management of the Workforce, including training and maximisation of local employment.
- The DPM should assist in the preparation and review of Inductions, Training material, Standard Operating Procedures and similar material to maximise the effectiveness of the Workforce.
- The DPM should also participate in the presentation of materials and the assessment of employees.
- Preparation and implementation of Project Budgets and Forecasts in conjunction with the PM.
- Coordinate subcontract activities to ensure that they will support the achievement of Project aims and the support of Project objectives.
- Manage the preparation of Claims, Variations, Monthly Reports and documentation related to disputes with Client / Suppliers. Support PM as required in any negotiations with Client / Suppliers.
- Manage all statutory permits and approvals as required to proceed with the Project and ensure all permits and formalities are complete and valid.
- Support the PM in the implementation and recording of Strategic Initiatives
- Assist PM to establish, maintain and manage all stake-holders interests to ensure harmonious and cooperative relationships in industrial relations and community relations in all aspects of the project.
- Support the PM in any other way deemed beneficial to the Project or the ongoing success of PTP. The PM may assign additional responsibilities within the limits of Company Policy.
- Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.
DISPATCH IT
(Site Based)
Performs routine maintenance, installation and integration of various types of process control of FMS software such as FMS system administration, instrumentation equipment of FMS hardware such as FMS display, FMS antenna, dispatch area, and Radio Wireless systems such as Switch, LAN and network portable tower to make FMS system running well.
Requirements:
- Min diploma degree in Information Technology, Bachelor degree are preferable
- Min 3 (three) years of experience in Electrical/Instrument process engineering prefer for Fleet Management System
- Preferably has knowledge as a communication engineer especially for information technology
- Preferably has knowledge of DNS, Firewalls, web and database servers
- Good analytical skill

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for installation, testing, programming, and commissioning equipment associated with the FMS system, FMS hardware and the network system running well.
- Conduct annual maintenance tasks associated with the FMS and assist station staff in FMS use and operation.
- Investigate and analyze hardware, network and FMS system problems with instruments, sensors and carry out programming and configuration changes plus investigate and recommend system improvements with particular emphasis on energy efficiency.
- Prepare and provide documentations for Jigsaw related to the installation, networking and troubleshooting
- Coordinate and work together with Site electrician crew, Dispatcher and ICT Indika head office.
- Design & Manage Wireless Radio Communication systems to support communication at entire site
- Communicate and manage with vendor regarding maintain and support FMS system.
DISPATCHER
(Site Based)
Monitor and supervise production activities an effective fleet management system by analyse and investigate reason for failure to comply with productivity target using the selected system.
Requirements:
- Min bachelor degree in Mining Engineering or foreman/supervisor with min 7 year experience
- Min 2 (two) years of experience as a Mining Engineer especially for running Fleet Management System
- Good understanding of Mining Business Processes
- Good analytical skill & problem solving skill
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
- Strong reporting and technical writing

- Excellent computer skill in Microsoft environment and other related applications, especially in report preparation and presentation

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the deployment of the Fleet Management System
- Undertake daily management of mine production information every shift and reporting systems
- Maintain and update Fleet Management System based on mining progress
- Deliver and implement daily or shift mine planning from engineering to operation production
- Dispatch, monitor and supervise production activities an effective Fleet Management System and coordination with operation to achieve and improve production and productivity target
- Review daily, weekly and monthly production & cost reports from the fleet management system to ensure the reports are free from errors
- Analyse and investigate reasons for failure to comply with productivity target and dispatch instructions by operator or shift supervision and report all findings to supervisor operation in order to have appropriate solution.
- Dispatch, monitor and supervise production activities every shift for an effective fleet management system and coordination with operation to achieve and improve productivity target to production efficiency.
- Responsible for effective deployment of mining resources to safely and effectively execute mine plans within set production and safety targets, understanding the daily, weekly and monthly production targets
- Ensure strong disciplinary procedures are enforced and followed consistently, assist to manage the operations manpower and make sure the right people are in the right places doing the right things.
EXTERNAL AFFAIRS MANAGER
(Assignment: Jakarta)
Responsible to manage and implement of organization’s industrial relations, employee relations to minimize the negative impact of individual employee grievances or collective labor disputes and maintain industrial peace; also to ensure that the organization’s current and future administrative needs are met efficiently.
Requirements:
- Min. Bachelor degree, preferably Law
- Min. 10 years professional experience in People Development / HR field, out of which 5 years in managerial position.
- Able to develop and maintain relationship with regional and local government officials
- Maintain to update knowledge of government regulations and law
- Willing to work in extended hours to achieve objectives
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with functional or operational area managers, employees, and their representatives to investigate and resolve employee grievances and develop strategies to prevent their recurrence in order to maintain a productive and harmonious workplace.
- Represent management in negotiations and dispute resolution procedures with employee, but not limited to providing employee counselling, unions, employer bodies, government agencies, labour relation authorities, and other relevant agencies so that the organisation’s interest are protected.
- Propose and recommend company regulations and policies as a result of reviewing against best practice and government requirements; to ensure that all company policies and regulations are comply with government requirements and conform with Department of manpower requirements.
- Manage the administrative activities of the overall organisation so that administrative staff, equipment, and other resources are used effectively and economically.
- Manage and monitor the work of personnel engaged in office services function such as security, car pool, office boy, cleaning service, messenger services, etc. to ensure that all office services run well and coordinated conform to the company’s standard and procedures.
- Manage all requirements required for licences, permits and control the extention of document and formalities matter to ensure that all document are complete, filed and extended conform with government requirements.
- Develop and maintain good relationship with regional and local government, Man power, BKPM, Police, Mine & energy and communities around the project to have smooth company’s operational activities.
- Manage the submission of applications for all redundancies and terminations to Department of Manpower, court (PHI) to ensure that all requirements required are fulfilled conform with current regulations and procedures.
- Advise and assist line management on all employee’s relations / government relation’s matter and Site Administrators relating to IR disputes of government regulations / Laws, company regulations to provide accurate and correct advice on IR, and ER.
- Conduct formal annual performance review and provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and performance counselling as required for all direct report to ensure that their performance are evaluated and noticed.
- Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements
- Manage and monitor all EOS process from preparation, carry out, collect and analyze data from Employee Opinion Survey.
HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGER
(Placement: Jakarta)
Plan, direct and control the overall Human Resources, recruitment, learning & development and Organization Development to ensure that it can fully support the company strategy by delivering effective and efficient services in term of becoming company’s strategic business partner in achieving company’s growth targets and goals.
Requirements:
- Min. 15 years previous experiences in Human Resources
- Min. Bachelor degree in any major

To create and develop a schedule of work activities for a Project which clearly shows the work breakdown structure, critical path activities, progress earned to date and programme to completion.
Requirements:

- Develop procedure for design and construction project management scheduling, including coding, resources allocation and cost loading of design and construction schedules

SENIOR DISPATCHER
(Site Based)
Deploy and maintain the company’s mining technology and systems to enable the Mining Business Line to achieve its plan.
Requirements:
- Min Bachelor degree preferably in Mining Engineering
- Min 4 (four) years previous experience as a Mining Engineer preferably with experience running Fleet Management system

- Work closely with ICT department and vendors to ensure system issues are resolved in a timely fashion

SENIOR MINING ENGINEER
(Jakarta & Site Based)
Leadership of Mine Planning Staff and resources to produce short and long term mine plans and schedules, complete with relevant systems and procedures that support the mining operations to achieve Project objectives within budgetary and contractual constraints.
Requirements:
- Min bachelor degree in a mining related Engineering discipline
- Min four years of experience in mining industry, including at least two years in Mine Planning
- Demonstrates good knowledge of Mining equipment capabilities and applications
- Experience with drill/blast and dewatering activities an advantage
- Well-developed computer skills, including their application to Mine Engineering
- Ability to use Mine Planning and Scheduling software including practical application to mining operations
- Good knowledge of best practices in Mining operations

Responsibilities:
- Proactively develop Twenty Four Month Plans and determine mine infrastructure, fleet and personnel resource requirements.
- Modification of Plans in line with resource allocations where applicable
- Critically review the Client provided Annual Mine Plans (and other Mine Plans as received) for accuracy, conformance to the Contract requirements and achievability. Provide alternatives and cooperatively work with Client to produce the most mutually satisfactory Annual Mine Plan.
- Review Client plans and requests to ensure the requirements defined are incorporated in the works and the responsibilities allocated under the Project quality system are understood and implemented.
- Proactively identify variations to the Contract and cooperate with the Commercial Team to follow through on claiming variations.
- Contribute to the development of the Three Monthly, Monthly and other short term detailed Mine Plans to integrate with the Mining Operations.
- Provide the necessary paraments needed by the Mining operations on a continuous feedback basis to enable short term control to achieve the long term Mine Plan.
- Closely monitor work practices and output to ensure that the integrity, clarity and thoroughness of the information that is produced by the project Mine Planning function is of a high standard and relevant to the requirements.
- Maintains a strong capability in the mine planning software and ensures that mine engineering staffs are similarly up to date with their skills.
- Contribute to the development of long term schedules for integration into shorter term mine plans for utilisation at Petrosea’s Mining operations (using PTP specified scheduling software).
- Monitor and coordinate engineering activities to ensure efficient production of engineering plans to meet contract program requirements.
- Conduct evaluation and analysis of mine schedules to ensure that they meet Petrosea’s goals.
- Contribute to the budgeting process.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to the Project sites and ensure they are incorporated into Petrosea Management Systems and Procedures.
- Coaching and mentoring of Graduate Mining Engineers and other Engineering related personnel.
- Contribute to the compilation of tenders and other cost estimation work by providing mine planning and design support as required by the Estimator.
- Provide technical advice and services to support production activities and reporting
- Minimise exposure to personnel and the environment by identifying hazards and risks during the planning phase of the work packages and recommending effective engineering solutions.
