Due to our opening new project, we are looking for suitably qualified and professional candidates to fill the following positions:
DEPUTY PROJECT MANAGER
( Site Based )
Proactively support the Project Manager to plan, direct and control the Project to ensure all Project related activities are conducted SAFELY, to the required Petrosea standards, on time and ahead of budget, whilst fostering an atmosphere of Zero Incidents and Continuous Improvement to promote the ongoing success of Petrosea.
Requirements:
- Possess the potential to develop into a PTP Mine Project Manager
- Min. Bachelor degree in mining engineering (preferred)
- Holder of POM (minimum) / POU (preferred)
- Min. 10 years previous experience in supervising mining operations (production) and a demonstrable understanding of sound mining practices and mining equipment.
- Min. five years in managerial position on a mining project
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, written and verbal
- Good computer skills, familiar with mining and mine planning software
- Good communication and strong leadership skills
- Ability to work in a Team environment under pressure
- Willing to be placed in any company location. Able to work in a remote location on Roster arrangements
- Ability to understand and protect PTPs commercial interests
- Good understanding of Mine infrastructure requirements
- Willing to be placed in any Company location and to work flexible hours to meet Project requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Direct responsibility for Engineering and Production operations on the Project. DPM shall direct and control all Engineering and Production functions on Site to optimise production, utilisation and cost for all mining operations on Site, without sacrificing safety or standards of work.
- Review and coordinate all mine planning activities with Client personnel
- Foster a culture of Zero Incidents and Continuous Improvements. DPM is responsible for safety within the mining areas of the Project.
- Assume responsibilities and authorities of the PM during PM absence.
- Proactively support the Project Manager in maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs and conformance to official standards and requirements.
- In coordination with the PM, allocate, manage and optimise resources (including personnel) to maximise returns and ensure continuity of operations.
- Plan and control water management activities to ensure minimal interuptions to mining.
- Support PM with the mobilisation and establishment of the Project, including any fleet and infrastructure expansion that may be required during the Project (including the buildup of personnel in accordance with approved organisation charts).
- Actively support the PM in the control and management of the Workforce, including training and maximisation of local employment.
- The DPM should assist in the preparation and review of Inductions, Training material, Standard Operating Procedures and similar material to maximise the effectiveness of the Workforce.
- The DPM should also participate in the presentation of materials and the assessment of employees.
- Preparation and implementation of Project Budgets and Forecasts in conjunction with the PM.
- Coordinate subcontract activities to ensure that they will support the achievement of Project aims and the support of Project objectives.
- Manage the preparation of Claims, Variations, Monthly Reports and documentation related to disputes with Client / Suppliers. Support PM as required in any negotiations with Client / Suppliers.
- Manage all statutory permits and approvals as required to proceed with the Project and ensure all permits and formalities are complete and valid.
- Support the PM in the implementation and recording of Strategic Initiatives
- Assist PM to establish, maintain and manage all stakeholders interests to ensure harmonious and cooperative relationships in industrial relations and community relations in all aspects of the project.
- Support the PM in any other way deemed beneficial to the Project or the ongoing success of PTP. The PM may assign additional responsibilities within the limits of Company Policy.
- Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.
MINE ENGINEERING SUPERINTENDENT
( Site Based )
Control, monitor and supervise Business Mining Process by variance in the Project mining operations to ensure production is achieved in accordance with Project parameters, Project schedule and budget and in compliance with Petrosea and Project safety and environmental policy and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Min. Bachelor degree in Mining Engineer.
- Fluent in English, written and verbal.
- Good leadership and communication skill.
- Willing to be placed in all mining project location.
- May be required to work flexible hours to meet Project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to all mining engineering staff to ensure the safest and efficient mining operations to achieve production targets.
- Work with Senior Mining Engineer to develop weekly, monthly and shutdown schedules for inclusion in the BMP plans by the Senior Mining Engineer.
- Assist with the implementation of the BMP system through leadership of technical assistants, production of accurate and timely reports, and troubleshooting problems encountered with the system.
- Responsible to implement long term mine plans and short term detailed mine execution plans at all levels using the BMP process and to provide the necessary production parameters needed by BMP on a continuous feedback basis to enable short term control to achieve the long term mine plan.
- Assist the Mining Engineer to develop and update mine plans and production schedules in accordance with project criteria.
- Implement and manage the mining operations in accordance with the mine plan to achieve production schedules.
- Prepare timely and accurate information on project progress for inclusion in progress claims and reports prepared by the Senior Mining Engineer.
- Organize, coordinate and manage production meetings internally and with the Client and arrange for distribution of minutes.
- Responsible for the optimization and utilization of mining equipment by the Mining Supervisor to achieve production targets.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Mining operations and Maintenance to maximize availability and utilization of all mining equipment.
- Monitor and manage the performance of all mining engineering staff.
- Assist the Project Manager in the training and mentoring of personnel as required by the company.
- Assist the Project Manager in promoting the development of teamwork.
- Promote and develop an open ethical work environment.
MINE OPERATION SUPERINTENDENT
( Site Based )
Monitor and control mining operation in term of support mining project manager to ensure production is achieved in accordance with BMP (Business Mining Petrosea), project parameters, project schedule, budget, in compliance with companys project safety and environmental policy.
Requirements:
- Min. Bachelor degree in mining
- Min. 8 years previous experiences in mining operation (production).
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
- Familiar with mining software
- Good communication and leadership skill
- Willing to be placed in all company location
- Excellent computer skill
- Certified in POP (hold POM certificate will be a plus)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and monitor mining operations staff on their day to day mining operation, monitor and control mining equipment usage to ensure the safest and efficient mining operations in order to achieve production targets and schedule in line with the mine plan.
- Develop and monitor weekly, monthly and shutdown schedules for inclusion in the BMP plans by the Senior Mining Engineer.
- Support and monitor the implementation of long term mine plans and short term detailed mine execution plans at all levels using the BMP process, provide the necessary production parameters needed by BMP on a continuous feedback basis in order to enable short term control achieving the long term mine plan.
- Prepare timely and accurate information on project progress for inclusion in progress claims and reports prepared by the Senior Mining Engineer.
- Maintain communication and coordination between Mining operations and Maintenance in order to maximize availability and utilization of all mining equipment.
- Lead, coach and manage subordinate including recruitment and provide a proper development and succession plan for them, Promote and develop an open ethical work environment in order to maintain subordinate in attract, motive and retain.
- Maintain and implementing HSE programs by minimise exposure to personnel and the environment by identifying hazards and risks from the planning phase of the work packages and during daily operational to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.
MINE OPERATION SUPERVISOR
( Site Based )
Requirements:
- Having at least 3 years of experience in the similar role (as Mining Supervisor)
- Certified in POP is a must
- Understand theSHE aspects of mining operations
- Good communication and leadership skill
- Willing to be placed in all company location
- Excellent computer skill
- May be required to work flexible hours to meet Project requirments
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
- Familliar with mining software (Minescape open cut)
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, control and supervise the mining production resources to achieve the production targets and objectives of the project in accordance with the project parameters and guidelines.
- Responsible to implement short term detailed mine execution plans at the position level using the BMP process and to provide the necessary production parameters needed by BMP on a continuous feedback basis to enable short term control to achieve the long term mine plan.
- Surpervise the performance of mining foremen, operators, technicians and unskilled personnel in the mining operations in the shift by shift BMP process using short term variance.
- Identify the development and training needs of the mining foremen, operators, technicians and unskilled personnel in the mining operations for the benefit of the Project Manager.
- Coordinate and supervise Mining production and other mining team to ensure smooth operations at loading points.
- Control production on an hour by hour basis and prepare timely and accurate reports on project progress as requires by the project.
- Assist Mining Superintendent in liaise and co-ordinate with maintenance departement to optimize and maximize mining equipment availability and utilization in achieving production target.
- Minimise axposure to personnel and the environment by identifying hazards and risks during the operation phase of the work packages and implement all safety procedures, rules and regulations in accordance with the Safety Management Plan.
SENIOR MINING ENGINEER
( Site Based )
Leadership of Mine Planning Staff and resources to produce short and long term mine plans and schedules, complete with relevant systems and procedures that support the mining operations to achieve Project objectives within budgetary and contractual constraints.
Requirements:
- Min bachelor degree in a mining related Engineering discipline
- Min four years of experience in mining industry, including at least two years in Mine Planning
- Demonstrates good knowledge of Mining equipment capabilities and applications
- Experience with drill/blast and dewatering activities an advantage
- Well-developed computer skills, including their application to Mine Engineering
- Ability to use Mine Planning and Scheduling software including practical application to mining operations
- Good knowledge of best practices in Mining operations
- Good analytical and problem solving skills. Attention to detail.
- Fluency in English, written and verbal
- Willing to work flexible hours to meet position requirements
- Willing to be placed in any Company location and travel to Project Sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Proactively develop Twenty Four Month Plans and determine mine infrastructure, fleet and personnel resource requirements.
- Modification of Plans in line with resource allocations where applicable
- Critically review the Client provided Annual Mine Plans (and other Mine Plans as received) for accuracy, conformance to the Contract requirements and achievability. Provide alternatives and cooperatively work with Client to produce the most mutually satisfactory Annual Mine Plan.
- Review Client plans and requests to ensure the requirements defined are incorporated in the works and the responsibilities allocated under the Project quality system are understood and implemented.
- Proactively identify variations to the Contract and cooperate with the Commercial Team to follow through on claiming variations.
- Contribute to the development of the Three Monthly, Monthly and other short term detailed Mine Plans to integrate with the Mining Operations.
- Provide the necessary paraments needed by the Mining operations on a continuous feedback basis to enable short term control to achieve the long term Mine Plan.
- Closely monitor work practices and output to ensure that the integrity, clarity and thoroughness of the information that is produced by the project Mine Planning function is of a high standard and relevant to the requirements.
- Maintains a strong capability in the mine planning software and ensures that mine engineering staffs are similarly up to date with their skills.
- Contribute to the development of long term schedules for integration into shorter term mine plans for utilisation at Petroseas Mining operations (using PTP specified scheduling software).
- Monitor and coordinate engineering activities to ensure efficient production of engineering plans to meet contract program requirements.
- Conduct evaluation and analysis of mine schedules to ensure that they meet Petroseas goals.
- Contribute to the budgeting process.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to the Project sites and ensure they are incorporated into Petrosea Management Systems and Procedures.
- Coaching and mentoring of Graduate Mining Engineers and other Engineering related personnel.
- Contribute to the compilation of tenders and other cost estimation work by providing mine planning and design support as required by the Estimator.
- Provide technical advice and services to support production activities and reporting
- Minimise exposure to personnel and the environment by identifying hazards and risks during the planning phase of the work packages and recommending effective engineering solutions.
DISPATCHER
( Site Based )
Requirements:
- Min bachelor degree in Mining Engineering or foreman/supervisor with min 7 year experience
- Min 2 (two) years of experience as a Mining Engineer especially for running Fleet Management System (with Jigsaw sytem / Leica Geosystems Mining)
- Good understanding of Mining Business Processes
- Good analytical skill & problem solving skill
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
- Strong reporting and technical writing
- Good understanding of Mining Business Processes
- Excellent computer skill in Microsoft environment and other related applications, especially in report preparation and presentation
- Good customer service and team work
- Willing to be based at the companys mine sites and work in shift
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the deployment of the Fleet Management System
- Undertake daily management of mine production information every shift and reporting systems
- Maintain and update Fleet Management System based on mining progress
- Deliver and implement daily or shift mine planning from engineering to operation production
- Dispatch, monitor and supervise production activities an effective Fleet Management System and coordination with operation to achieve and improve production and productivity target
- Review daily, weekly and monthly production & cost reports from the fleet management system to ensure the reports are free from errors
- Analyse and investigate reasons for failure to comply with productivity target and dispatch instructions by operator or shift supervision and report all findings to supervisor operation in order to have appropriate solution.
- Dispatch, monitor and supervise production activities every shift for an effective fleet management system and coordination with operation to achieve and improve productivity target to production efficiency.
- Responsible for effective deployment of mining resources to safely and effectively execute mine plans within set production and safety targets, understanding the daily, weekly and monthly production targets
- Ensure strong disciplinary procedures are enforced and followed consistently, assist to manage the operations manpower and make sure the right people are in the right places doing the right things.
DISPATCHER IT
( Site Based )
Requirements:
- Min diploma degree in Information Technology, Bachelor degree are preferable
- Min 3 (three) years of experience in Electrical/Instrument process engineering prefer for Fleet Management System
- Preferably has knowledge as a communication engineer especially for information technology
- Preferably has knowledge of DNS, Firewalls, web and database servers
- Good analytical skill
- Good problem solving skill
- Strong reporting and technical writing
- Good customer service and team work
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
- Willing to be based on project sites and work in shift
- Willing to provide 24/7 on-call production support and escalations for hardware, operating system or communication problems associated with system supported by group
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for installation, testing, programming, and commissioning equipment associated with the FMS system, FMS hardware and the network system running well.
- Conduct annual maintenance tasks associated with the FMS and assist station staff in FMS use and operation.
- Investigate and analyze hardware, network and FMS system problems with instruments, sensors and carry out programming and configuration changes plus investigate and recommend system improvements with particular emphasis on energy efficiency.
- Prepare and provide documentations for Jigsaw related to the installation, networking and troubleshooting
- Coordinate and work together with Site electrician crew, Dispatcher and ICT Indika head office.
- Design & Manage Wireless Radio Communication systems to support communication at entire site
- Communicate and manage with vendor regarding maintain and support FMS system.
SURVEYOR
( Site Based )
Conducts surveys at surface and subsurface mine sites to implement mine design and obtain data used in planning mining operations including monitoring recovery, productivity and submission of progress claims align with companys policies and rules.
Requirements:
- Min bachelor degree in Geodetic Engineering
- Min. 2 years experiences as a surveyor
- Able to operate mining survey equipment
- May be required to work flexible hours to suit Project requirements
- Good communication skill
- May be required to work flexible hours to suit Project requirements
- Willing to be placed in all project
Responsibilities:
- Collect and develop survey data and maintain the database to ensure the accordance with the set of standard procedures and systems.
- Conduct field surveys in good time and accurately determine quantities necessary for the submission of monthly progress claims.
- Coordinate and liaise with both Mining Engineering and Operations to ensure that mine designs are being properly implemented in the field.
- Collect accurate daily survey and download data into the computer to ensure datas are interpreted accurately by the Survey Draftsman.
- Use and maintain survey software in order to ensure efficiency in survey activities.
- Coach and mentor Survey Assistant and provide them with skills in order to collect the survey pick-ups in the absence of a Surveyor.
- Contribute to the compilation of tenders by providing Mine planning and design support needed by the Estimator.
CIVIL FOREMAN
( Site Based )
Monitor and coordinate civil daily activities to ensure civil work is performed in a technically correct and efficient manner, conform with companys standard and policies.
Requirements:
- Min. 5 years experiences in Civil area, especially in infrastructure maintenance (building & workshop)
- Good knowledge in heavy machine technology
- Understand and ability in using tools, special tools, amd workshop facilities
- Preferably experience from non staff ( carpenter / mason )
- Experienced in maintain heavy machine and understand manual shop, partbook, operation and maintenance manual, and other reference, in orde to do daily control, inspection dan program schedule overhaul, repair and overhaul, and also troubleshooting / Diagnose
Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise Civil activities regarding tools requirement, sparepart, and consumable goods and also manpower planning in establishment, maintenance, and repairement of Site.
- Responsible in maintain and repair Civil system in Site/Project.
- Check and examine all mechanical location and equipment and economizing by using test equipment standard and observe its function.
- Conduct formal annual performance review all direct reports, identifying strengths and weaknesses, training needs and agreeing upon goals for the future
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and performance counselling as required for all direct reports
- Prepare and submitt reporting required by Business Mining Petrosea (BMP) in a timely manner
- Communicate and Monitor safety procedures implementation in work environment and process in order to maintain safety awareness at all times and adhere to Petrosea guidelines and regulations in this respect
- Review and analyze of failure to plant, monitor degradation and report pending equipment failure for compilation into backlog
- Monitor and maintain Work Order (WO) to ensure Work Order information is processed in accordance with Business Mining Petrosea (BMP).
RESOURCES ENGINEER
( Jakarta Based )
To provide comprehensive analysis of different equipment types and brands to suit our Mine site appilations. To work closely with asset group to advise on equipment rental to support the mining business line
Requirements:
- Min bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Min. 3 years exposure to a similar role in an establishes mining industry, formally recognised knowledge of a continuous improvement methodology is an expectation of the role, as will your skills in effective equipment analysis together with ability to manage / advice on rental equipment fleet allocation.
- Qualifications in engineering or a closely related discipline is an essential requirement for the position a working knowledge in mine equipment scheduling and/or mine equipment application will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit mining equipment analysis report are neceserry
- Conduct studies to develop data required for optimal planning mining equipment, and prepares plans and schedules for acquisition and installation of equipment to meet long term and current operation reuirement.
- Conduct studies to accumulate information on current services, equipment capacities, current traffic data and estimated acquisition and installation cost.
- Prepare modification data and cost analysis on get, condust trials, and make recommendations to mining department.
- Work on continuous improvement in matters of mining equipment technology implementation, get improvement cost
- Working with Asset Departement to get the correct specification for rental equipment as required for mining business line
- Minimise exposure to personnel and the environment by identifying hazards and risk during the operation phase of the work packages and implement all safety procedures, rules and regulations and statutory regulations in accordace with the safety management plan.
