Product Line Manager – Surface and Exploration Drilling (SED)
Responsibilities:
- To ensure that the Company meets its business goals in terms of Surface and Exploration drilling products as well as aftermarket sales, growth, market share and profitability. Provide leadership and guidance in the area of business development with a focus on organic growth and consolidated profitability specifically in the Construction and Exploration industry segments in Indonesia.
- Responsible for applying the necessary emphasis on each market segment to insure acceptable market penetration in all geographies through direct sales and channel partner sales to all mining (Bulk and Selective), construction (Cement, Aggregate, Civil Engineering, Dimensional Stone, Foundation) Exploration (Surface and Underground), and yet defined segments.
- Set overall pricing in line with company objectives, as well as negotiate transfer prices with the Product Company.
- Initiate unit order with the Product Company within agreed upon limits.
- Set values on machine trade-ins in accordance with set procedures
- nitiate and control repair work and equipment upgrades of the Rental Fleet.
- Authorization of operational costs in accordance with the overall budget guidelines and as outlined in Prokura Procedures.
- Discretionary flexibility in regards to travel and entertainment in accordance with overall company policy and budget.
Requirements
- The successful candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university, or the equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum of five years in Product Management or Sales of Construction, Exploration or related products and markets
- The candidate should also be proficient in all computer related software programs such as MS Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.) and contact management systems
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, legal documents or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the community.
- Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on complex topics to internal and external customers.
- Candidate shall be able to effectively communicate in both Bahasa Indonesian and English language.
Territory Salesman - Surface and Exploration Drilling
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow market for Capital Equipment sales for sales territory. Add value to the Atlas Copco product line by establishing positive customer relations, ensure customer’s expectations are met, and increase customer satisfaction levels through solution based sales and support. To grow the Atlas Copco Indonesia customer base and diversify our presence into all Surface and Exploration Drilling (SED) segments (Volume mining, selective mining, Cement Quarry, Aggregate Quarry, Civil Engineering, geotechnical, Crushing, dimensional stone and exploration drilling ) increasing our market share
- Ensure that the company meets its business goals in terms of complete machine sales, rentals, market share growth and profitability in the assigned sales area for the Indonesian market
- Sell all SED products in line with yearly business plan.
- Develop and implement a strategy to achieve growth and sales targets.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with established customers through close management of the accounts and attention to their needs.
- Assess and define customer applications so that the correct product can be represented. Ensure integrity in the application of the products.
- Manage territory to ensure all segments are covered adequately.
- Market share growth, hit or exceed target.
- Maintain profitability on all Capital equipment sales.
- Supervise any dealer or agent efforts on the SED side of the business.
- Work closely with the division to maintain correct forecasts, inventory, and demonstration units.
- Promote sales of other offerings from Atlas Copco to your assigned customer base including drill bits and steel, allied products and aftermarket offerings
- Ensure exceptional customer product support, by working closely with Capital Business Line Manager, Product Managers, Branch managers and territory Product Support Sales Representative’s.
Plan, organize and administer equipment demonstrations or customer visits as per set procedures.
Set up and implement the start-up of new and rental fleet equipment
Requirements
- Engineering Bachelor Degree required prefer Mining/ Mechanical/ Electrical or the equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in selling mining equipment and must have strong ability to close orders.
- Good understanding and experience on sales territory management and it’s actual implementation
- A minimum of three years of industry related sales experience required.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, legal documents or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the community.
- Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on complex topics to internal and external customers.
- Candidate shall be able to effectively communicate in both Bahasa Indonesian and English language.
- Work cooperatively with Customer Service, Technical Service and Field Service groups in a spirit of teamwork to address problem areas.
- Safeguard the assets of the company in general and reveal no information to competitors or outside parties, which could be harmful to our business.
- Manage in the best interest of the company, those assets entrusted to you including but not limited to; vehicles, computers, phones, faxes and products.
- Use the budgeted resources in the most cost-effective way for promoting business.
