G-Resources is an Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed in Hong Kong, and is operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera. Having poured our first gold bars, the mine and processing plant is now focused on achieving the ramp up phase to go into full production. The open cut mine, with an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a conventional processing circuit incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIL, is targeting to initially process 4.5mtpa to produce 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver annually. The Martabe Gold Mine is striving to maintain an excellent track record in responsible mining practices, and clear commitment to compliance to mining regulations as well as developing and managing mining activities with the involvement of local communities.

To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

SECURITY & ERT MANAGER (HSS 0539)

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of security and emergency response at the Martabe site,
• Development and implementation of security and ERT management systems,
• Liaison with police, management of guarding contracts,
• Implementation of required training and mentoring and development of subordinates.

Requirements:

• A Minimum of 10 years experience of security management at mine sites or industrial sites.
• Previous experience in the management of large guard forces.
• Expertise in security risk assessment, security investigations and electronic security measures.
• Tertiary technical qualification relevant to the area.
• Specialist security training is desirable.
• Experience in emergency response and fire fighting.
• Good English and competent in MS Office products.
• Experience of bullion shipment procedures and gold plant security would be highly regarded.

Processing Safety Supervisor (PRO 0536)

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of Mine Safety Act and Regulations
• Knowledge in the field of risk assessment and risk management
• Knowledge of incident investigation practices to identify root causes and remedial actions
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others as part of a team .
• Attend related OHS Training as directed by the Processing manager

Requirements:

• Minimum D3 in OHS, Mining Engineer or Mechanical or relevant.
• Minimum Five (5) years experience in the field of safety  in processing, mining and or construction industries.
• Hold a POP Certificate.
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge in the field of Health and Safety.
• Familiar with processing operation and operational of Heavy rotational Equipment
• Enthusiasm, self-motivation and the ability to maintain direction and achieve work objectives with minimal supervision.
• Strong managerial and supervisory skills and excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate both written and verbal in English.
• Competent in personal computer applications including Excel, Word & Power Point
• Should have a valid driver A license

Processing Training Coordinator (PRO 0537)

Responsibilities:

• Provide valuable training packages and proceed effectively to local work force.
• Review and maintain current training packages to ensure relevance.
• Planning & developing strategies for continuous improvement in the process plant performance.

Requirements:

• Hold Certificate IV in Training & Assessment – TAE 40110 or equivalent.
• Knowledge of training and assessment systems.
• Development  and implementation of A Training Need’s Analysis plan.
• Development  of competency based training plans for processing personnel.
• Coordinating the implementation of individual training plans.
• Development  ofStandard Operational Procedures as required.
• Ensuring resources are adequate to develop new training packages.
• Plan, design and deliver high quality training programmes to meet client needs.
• Supervision  and coordination  of the trainer in leading  training courses.
• A minimum of five years experience working within a training environment especially in processing department.
• Ability to communicate both written and verbal in English.
• A bachelor degree in Education or Business Administration.
• Certified trainer or  facilitator.

Processing Training Supervisor (PRO 0538)

Responsibilities:

• Development of  Standard Operational Procedures as  directed.
• Development   of training packages as directed by the Training  Coordinator.
• Review and evaluation  of the current training packages to ensure relevance.

Requirements:

• Hold Certificate IV in Training & Assessment – TAE 40110 or equivalent.
• Knowledge of training and assessment systems.
• Implementing and evaluating of a Training Need Analysis plan.
• Delivery  of training plans for processing personnel.
• Coordination  and implementation of individual training plans.
• Ability to communicate both written and verbal in English.
• Delivery  of high quality training programmes to meet client needs.
• Must have a  high standard of verbal, written  and presentation skill.
• Three to  five years experience working within a training environment, experience in process training and delivery is highly desirable.
• A bachelor degree in Education or Business Administration.
• Certified trainer or  facilitator.
