Oil & Gas Job Vacancy Contract Engineer PT SMOE Indonesia

Serve worldwide oil and gas clients by providing services in engineering, Seatrium procurement, construction, transportation, installation and commissioning At PT SMOE Indonesia, offshore platforms, modules, jackets and FPSOs are our business. We are seeking qualified, high integrity and energetic person to fulfill the following positions:

CONTRACT ENGINEER

General Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalents
• At least 3 - 5 years experience in Fabrication or Constructions as Contract Engineer, background in oil and gas industry preferred
• Familiar with reviews, negotiates, and amends standard contract documentation as required, often adding or changing clauses according to the specifications of stakeholders
• Able to perform all clarifications for contracts meeting and coordinating with the project department and smooth functioning of the project.
• Solid understanding of various construction contracts format/standard (incl. FIDIC)
• Solid understanding of Indonesia law and regulation related to construction
• Experience in supervising projects to make sure that the contract terms address all the client's requirements
• Project management - having detailed knowledge within the engineering and contractor business is a must, as it helps in identifying problems, and contributing to solutions related to the project
• Must be able to work independently or Teamwork
• Attention to detail, strive for quality, good communication skill, hard worker and strong integrity.
• Prioritize in Batam domicile
