Exploration Geologist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Conduct detailed geological mapping and structural mapping in exploration areas.
• Perform drill core and RC chip logging, including lithological, alteration, mineralization, and structural interpretation.
• Supervise geological sampling programs and ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures.
• Assist in planning and monitoring drilling programs.
• Compile, validate, and manage geological databases.
• Interpret geological, geochemical, and drilling data to support exploration targeting.
• Prepare geological maps, cross-sections, and technical reports.
• Assist in developing geological models and mineralization wireframes using industry-standard software.
• Support resource evaluation and estimation activities as required.
• Ensure all exploration activities comply with company safety and environmental standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology or Geological Engineering.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mineral exploration projects, preferably gold and/or copper deposits.
• Hands-on experience in geological mapping and structural interpretation is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of geological mapping, structural geology, alteration, mineralization, and mineral deposit geology.
• Experience in drill core logging, RC chip logging, and exploration data management.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures for exploration programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficient in at least one geological modelling software.
• Experience using GIS software.
• Willing to work on an 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster schedule in a remote exploration environment.
• Placement for Sister Company located in Aceh.
