We are looking for experienced and qualified talent to join one of our subsidiary PT Merdeka Tsingshan Indonesia (MTI) for the following position:

Technical Services Production Superintendent

Job Description:

Technical Services Production Superintendent is responsible for leading the Process Engineering team in optimizing metallurgical processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting operational performance, and ensuring the safe, stable, and efficient operation of the Company's mineral processing facilities.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemical, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Superintendent level and 7 years of proven experience as a Process Engineer within the following operations:
  • Iron pelletizing, rotary kiln operations, and base metal recovery (hydrometallurgy), or
  • Acid making and waste treatment operations, or
  • Anode or blast furnace, electrolysis, and precious metal recovery operations, or
  • Mineral processing, flotation, thickener, and filtering process operations.
• Strong understanding of metallurgical and chemical process fundamentals (thermodynamics, kinetics, mass transfer, and heat transfer).
• Strong knowledge of metallurgical research and development (R&D) laboratory operations and testing methodologies.
• Proven experience in budgeting, production planning, inventory control, and forecasting (PPIC).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and metallurgical accounting skills.
• Hands-on experience in process troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards and environmental compliance in metallurgical or chemical plants.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Mandarin is highly prioritized.
• Excellent teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse departments and stakeholders.
