Job Vacancy Project Scheduler and Senior Project Engineer PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk ​

PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk is a holding company for a business group engaged in nickel and other mineral mining, processing, and other related activities that are vertically integrated with the strategic mineral value chain and electric motor vehicle battery. We are looking for experienced and qualified talent to join one of our subsidiary PT Sulawesi Cahaya Mineral (SCM) for the following positions:

Project Scheduler

​

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Project Management
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project scheduling or project planning
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, planning, and control
• Experienced in baseline schedule development and progress monitoring
• Skilled in delay analysis, schedule risk analysis, and recovery planning
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent scheduling tools
• Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills
• Placement: Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi

Key Roles:

• Develop and manage project schedules in line with project timeline, milestones, and targets
• Prepare and maintain baseline project schedules based on approved scope of work
• Develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and integrate it into the project schedule
• Monitor project progress and prepare weekly progress and schedule performance reports
• Analyze project delays and provide corrective and recovery schedule recommendations
• Develop and maintain S-Curves as project progress monitoring tools
• Coordinate scheduling activities with engineering, procurement, construction, contractors, and consultants

Senior Project Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or related field)
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in project engineering or project management
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methods
• Good knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and cost control
• Familiar with HSE and quality standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Placement: Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi

Key Roles:

• Coordinate project execution in line with scope, schedule, and budget
• Review engineering drawings, method statements, and technical documents
• Monitor project progress and prepare periodic reports
• Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans
• Ensure compliance with quality, HSE, and technical standards
• Support procurement activities and material requirements
• Assist in resolving technical issues in the field promptly and effectively
