Lowongan Kerja Pertambangan Process Engineer PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk

PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk is a holding company for a business group engaged in nickel and other mineral mining, processing, and other related activities that are vertically integrated with the strategic mineral value chain and electric motor vehicle batteries.

We are looking for experienced and qualified talent to join one of our subsidiary PT Merdeka Tsingshan Indonesia (MTI) for the following positions

Process Engineer

Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing metallurgical processes, improving efficiency, supporting operations, and ensuring safe & stable plant performance of our mineral processing facilities.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemical, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of proven experience in a process engineering role within:
• - Iron pelletizing, rotary kiln operations, and base metal recovery (hydrometallurgy), or - Acid making and waste treatment operations, or
• - Anode or blast furnace, electrolysis, and precious metal recovery operations, or
• - Mineral processing, flotation, thickener, and filtering process operations.
• Strong understanding of metallurgical and chemical process fundamentals (thermodynamics, kinetics, mass transfer, and heat transfer).
• Hands-on experience in process troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards and environmental compliance in metallurgical or chemical plants.
• Proficiency in data analysis, process optimization, and problem-solving.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Mandarin is highly prioritized.
• Excellent teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse departments and stakeholders.
