Leading Hand Warehouse
Location: Indonesia – Batam Rebuild Facility
About the role:
The Leading Hand Warehouse will ensuring activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, conform to Thiess process and procedure. In this role, you will:
- Monitors team or area performance and keeps people informed of progress to ensure delivery against objectives.
- Work with respect with other colleagues to ensure no workplace conflict.
- Regularly review the effectiveness of the critical controls for key risks with direct reports.
- Recognize good HSE behaviors and performance.
- Listen to, and act on, HSE concerns raised by the workforce.
- Communicate HSE messages in a simple and direct manner.
- To be pro-active with all Safety, Environmental and Health requirements.
- Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws, regulation and statutory obligation at all times.
- Ensure compliance with WI or JSEA.
- Ensure that all tasks are carried out in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure all receipting and issuing tasks are carried out in detail and with accuracy.
- Ensure all necessary actions are taken to rectify any faults identified by the inspections, in accordance with the correct procedures.
- Quality assurance for all warehouse tasks, achieved by continual monitoring of work in progress and the procedures that are being used.
- Own and coordinate on the shipping discrepancy claim process from various vendors.
About you:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Heavy Equipment Mining in Warehouse Department.
- Regularly review the effectiveness of the critical controls for key risks with direct reports.
- Proficient in handling skill diagnostic skills in all aspects of warehouse, warehouse experience.
- Good communication skills – written & verbal in English & Bahasa.
