Sr. Proposal Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze mining project tender documents (ITB, RFP, TOR, BOQ, and technical specifications).
• Preparing technical proposals for mining construction projects, including mine infrastructure, processing plants, hauling roads, camps, and supporting ting facilities.
• Performing material take-offs (MTO) from IFC drawings, FEED packages, and conceptual designs.
• Cost estimation and budget preparation for mining construction projects (earthworks, civil, structural, and MEP works).
• Perform value engineering and constructability reviews to optimize project cost, schedule, and execution.
• Reviewing master plans, mine layouts, plant layouts, and infrastructure drawings.
• Preparing clarification, deviation, and technical query (TQ) documents during the tender stage.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree of Civil Engineering (Preferred majoring in Project Management).
• Minimum 8 years experience as Proposal Engineer or related position.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies in mining areas, including remote locations, heavy equipment operations, and blasting interfaces.
• Strong understanding of mining project logistics, including limited access, material hauling, and heavy equipment mobilization.
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling to support continuous mining operations.
• Experienced in technical and operational risk analysis for mining projects and the development of mitigation strategies.
• Experienced in technical presentations, tender clarifications, and negotiation support with mining owners and consultants.
• Knowledge of mining and construction standards and regulations (SNI, JIS, ASTM, ACI, ISO, and applicable HSE and environmental regulations).
• Mastering for Software: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, advanced MS Excel, Primavera P6, and/or MS Project.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to be placed in Jakarta and all site of Merdeka Group.

 

Sr. Civil Structure Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, conceptualize, and create Civil/structure designs for upper & Sub Structure (i.e., Industrial Plant building & mining infrastructures).
• Performed of engineering calculations to support design work and good understanding in concrete, Steel structure and Geotech engineering.
• Developing, reviewing, updating, modifying, and proving civil/structure design plans and work schedules.
• Developed of general Civil/Structure specifications for green and brown fields construction projects.
• Reviewed technical drawings, plans, and specifications from others consultant.
• To review and advice on the master plan/layout drawings prepared by the Sr. Civil/Structure Designer.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors, consultant and contractors.
• Establishing relationships with client, consultant, vendors, suppliers, other professional engineers, and expanding networks.
• Participating in conferences, events, and networking and learning opportunities.
• Drawing up budgets, schedules, company regulations, and various other documents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree of Civil Engineering (Preferred majoring in Design or Structure).
• Minimum 8 years experience as Civil Structure Design Engineer or related position.
• Firm grasp of engineering concepts and experience designing building system.
• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
• Proficient general computer skill & Ms. Office.
• Mastering for Software: AutoCAD 2D & 3D, SAP 2000, Staad Pro, CSI SAFE, GS AFES, TEEDS.
• Familiar and implement related project standard: ASCE, ACI, ASTM, JIS, SNI.
• Former civil/structure design consultant employee is preferable.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to be placed in Jakarta and all site of Merdeka Group.
