PT MERDEKA TSINGSHAN INDONESIA (MTI)

PT Merdeka Tsingshan Indonesia (MTI), a subsidiary of PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk, is looking for experienced and qualified talent to join our team in Morowali. We are a vertically integrated company focused on the strategic mineral value chain and electric vehicle batteries.

Work Location: Morowali, Central Sulawesi
Work Schedule: Roster (5 weeks on, 2 weeks off)

 

Electrical Instrument Planner

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing, planning, and coordinating the Electrical & Instrument function.
• Ensure safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of maintenance execution.
• Develop and control weekly, monthly, and shutdown maintenance plans.
• Manage job plans, priorities, and backlog accuracy in CMMS (Pronto/SAP or equivalent).
• Coordinate with other functions for tools, manpower, vendors, and critical spare parts readiness.
• Analyze downtime/MTBF/MTTR trends, lead RCA, and optimize PM/PdM strategies.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation/Mechatronics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in E&I maintenance planning, preferably in smelter or large-scale industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge in: MV/LV systems, transformers, MCC, motors, VFDs, switchgear, process instrumentation, PLC/SCADA/DCS, and signal troubleshooting.
• Ability to read P&ID/SLD/wiring diagrams accurately and oversee contractor work quality.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Excellent teamwork abilities to collaborate with diverse departments.
