Junior Researcher – Pest & Disease

Location: Jambi, Indonesia (Remote Area) Company: ASTAR What You’ll Do:

• Conduct research focused on pest and disease management to support operational excellence.
• Prepare detailed progress reports and concise summaries of research findings.
• Oversee ongoing projects and proactively resolve challenges as they arise.
• Assist in developing SOPs, work instructions, and best-practice guidelines for pest and disease control.
• Take on special assignments as directed by your supervisor.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Master’s degree (S2) in Agronomy, Crop Science, Plant Physiology, or a related field preferred; or Bachelor’s degree (S1) with relevant experience.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Pest & Disease research.
• Strong understanding of pest and disease management principles.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Strong coordination and teamwork capabilities.
• Willingness to be based in Jambi (remote area).
