LABORATORY COORDINATOR (Coal Laboratory)

Qualifications:

• Minimum D3 or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mining Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Coal Laboratory, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of coal analysis based on ASTM, ISO, and SNI standards.
• Good understanding of Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) and coal handling processes.
• Proven leadership, supervision, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily laboratory operations and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Oversee sample preparation activities (Exploration, PIT, ROM, Stockpile, Barging) according to the established schedule.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of laboratory analysts and assistants.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of coal quality testing and analysis results.
• Responsible for laboratory equipment, including proper usage, maintenance, and calibration.
• Prepare and review laboratory reports, documentation, and administrative records.
• Willing to be assigned to any of the company's project sites.

 

 

ASSISTANT LABORATORY (Coal Laboratory)

Qualifications:

• Minimum D3 degree in Mining Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Laboratory Assistant in a Coal Laboratory.
• Basic understanding of coal analysis standards (ASTM, ISO, SNI).
• Familiar with laboratory equipment operation and sample preparation processes.
• Able to work accurately, systematically, and in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in coal sample preparation (Exploration, PIT, ROM, Stockpile, Barging) according to procedures and schedules.
• Support laboratory analysts in conducting coal quality testing and analysis.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of laboratory equipment and samples.
• Record test results and assist in laboratory documentation and reporting.
• Comply with laboratory SOPs, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Willing to be assigned to any of the company's project sites.
