Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Experience: 5-10 years in Mechanical Maintenance (Oil & Gas / Power Generation)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Additional certifications in Rotating Equipment Maintenance or Gas Turbine Technology are highly desirable
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within oil & gas or power generation
• Experienced in Gas Turbine maintenance
• Familiar with compressor packages, power generation systems, and auxiliary equipment

Specialized Skills:

• Gas Turbine Maintenance: Overhaul, troubleshooting, alignment, performance tuning
• Compressor Systems: Maintenance of centrifugal compressors driven by gas turbines
• Power Generation: Operation & maintenance of turbine-driven generators
• Strong understanding of OEM standards and gas turbine procedures

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Able to work in remote areas and collaborate with offshore teams
• Good communication for reporting and coordinating with OEM
• Able to communicate using technical English

Additional Requirements:

• Familiar with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
• Understanding of condition monitoring (vibration analysis, thermography)
• Willingness for on-call support and emergency troubleshooting
