We're hiring! IDS GeoRadar (Hexagon Mining) is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer based in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.

Responsibilities include 24/7 radar monitoring, data analysis, customer support, and product presentations. Shift-based role.

Due to growth and project demands, we are currently looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our monitoring team.

Geotechnical Engineer - IDS GeoRadar

Location: Balikpapan, Indonesia
Working hours: Rotating shift roster

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Provide 24/7 remote monitoring services for clients in APAC Regions
• Provide customer support to the existing radar users in APAC Regions
• Provide Geotechnical Engineering customer support
• Provide daily Radar report with strength ability for data analysis
• Detailed record keeping and reporting
• Comply and adhere to strict safety standards
• Participate in and provide support to Senior Geotechnical Engineer
• Product presentation, demonstration, and pre-sales work as support

Knowledge & Experience Required:

• Geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, mining engineering or engineering geology degree with experience about 2 years + (Postgraduate education would be well considered)
• Customer driven and focused on providing service of excellence
• Good understanding of the mining industry
• Experience with geotechnical monitoring systems (radar, prisms, lidar, piezometers etc)
• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills including presentation and documentation skills
• Advanced computer skills
• Fluency in English
