Employment Type: Temporary (3-month contract)

Legal Specialist (Temporary - 3 Months)

We are looking for a Legal Specialist to join our team on a 3-month temporary basis to cover for a maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone with strong legal knowledge and a proactive mindset who can step in and contribute from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and implement directions, suggestions, and input from the Legal & Corporate Secretary Manager.
• Provide feedback and recommendations on legal actions or company decisions.
• Draft and propose new procedures when needed, and review, revise, and give feedback on existing procedures.
• Perform legal risk mitigation to protect the company from potential legal exposure.
• Ensure that all contractual risks with third parties are clearly identified and mitigated appropriately.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Law
• 3-5 years of experience in legal, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Solid understanding of corporate and contract law.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Has previous experience working at a law firm.
• Hands-on experience in M&A (Merger & Acquisition) processes.
• Familiar with dealing with Notary, Ministry of Law & Human Rights, BKPM, and other government institutions.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of working under deadlines.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Availability to join immediately is highly preferred.

Contract Duration:

• 3 months (Temporary role to cover maternity leave)
