PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk is a holding company for a business group engaged in nickel and other mineral mining, processing, and other related activities that are vertically integrated with the strategic mineral value chain and electric motor vehicle batteries.

We are looking for experienced and qualified talent to join one of our subsidiary PT Sulawesi Cahaya Mineral (SCM) for the following positions:

Emergency Response Team (ERT) Officer

Requirements:

• Minimum Senior High School (SMA/SMK); a Diploma (D3) in Occupational Health & Safety (K3) is a plus.
• At least 2 - 4 years of active experience in an Emergency Response Team, preferably in a mining or heavy industrial setting.
• Must hold active certifications in Basic Firefighting and Basic Trauma Cardiac Life Support (BTCLS). Proficient in technical rescue skills (e.g., Rope Rescue, Confined Space Rescue) and HAZMAT response is highly desirable.
• Excellent physical fitness and ability to work effectively under high-pressure situations Placement: Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi.

Key Roles:

• Respond immediately to all site emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, spills, and rescue scenarios.
• Provide on-scene firefighting and emergency medical care according to established protocols
• Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of all emergency response vehicles and equipment.
• Participate actively in all emergency drills, simulations, and continuous training programs Complete accurate incident reports and maintain detailed logs for all response and maintenance activities.
