Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Database Geologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and integrating geological data into our systems to support data-driven decision-making in the mineral mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize geological databases to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of data.
• Integrate diverse sources of geoscientific data including maps, surveys, well logs, and mineral exploration data.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to analyze and interpret geoscientific data for project planning and feasibility studies.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of database information through regular updates and quality control measures.
• Utilize GIS tools and specialized software to create and manage geo-databases.
• Generate comprehensive reports and visualizations to support strategic decision-making and project evaluations.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geological data management and mining exploration.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology (or related field).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Database Geologist within the mineral mining industry.
• Proven expertise in managing and analyzing large geological datasets.
• Proficiency with database management systems, SQL and Phyton is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with effective communication abilities.
• A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
