Alamtri Aluminium Smelter Project is seeking skilled and motivated professionals to join our Port Operations Team in support of our major smelter project in Kalimantan.

Specific Roles & Requirements

 

Port Section Head

Responsibilities:

• Assist Port Department Head and manage the port operations team, including planning, coordination, and performance monitoring.
• Develop and implement jetty operation strategies to support high-volume and high-frequency vessel activities.
• Liaise with government agencies, customs, and third-party contractors to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Experience handling charter process and insurance process is a must.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Port Management, Logistics, or related field. With COC Class II /ANT II
• Minimum 8 years of experience in port operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role. Strong knowledge of port regulations, shipping logistics, and HSSE practices.

 

Ship Dispatch Foreman

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage vessel schedules, berthing plans, and dispatch documentation.
• Serve as the main communication link between vessels and the port team during arrivals and departures.
• Monitor shipping timelines and adjust schedules as needed to optimize flow and reduce idle time. Verify and maintain shipping documents including bills of lading, cargo manifests, and port clearance forms.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering, Marine Transportation or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in vessel dispatch, port control, or maritime operations.
• Willingness to work on a rotational shift basis.
• Assistant Shipping Foreman Responsibilities:
• Assist the Shipping Foreman in
• supervising jetty crews and cargo handling activities.
• Ensure that all handling equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
• Report on daily operational issues and escalate incidents to supervisors.
• Support in team shift arrangements, attendance tracking, and equipment readiness checks.

 

Assistant Shipping Foreman

Requirements:

• Diploma in Port & Shipping, Marine Operations, or a technical field.
• Fresh Graduate up to 2 years of experience in port/ jetty operations or stevedoring activities.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and operational discipline.
• Willingness to work on a rotational shift basis.
