FINANCE & ACCOUNTING SUPERINTENDENT

Wetar Copper Mine, one of project of Merdeka Copper Gold, is seeking highly qualified candidates for this position

Overview:

This role is responsible to oversee the financial operations of the organization and ensure that all financial information is accurate, complete, and in accordance with applicable laws & regulations. This also includes supervising team, managing the organization's financial reporting & analysis, developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, and ensuring that the organization's financial objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for internal and external, including preparation of financial statements, budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for financial performance improvement.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
• Manage and control costs across the organization, including cost reduction initiatives and cost allocation.
• Supervise and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals, including recruitment, training and performance management systems.
• Lead the development of the annual budget in collaboration with department heads and senior management, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and financial constraints. Perform financial projections to provide insight into future financial performance and to help management make informed decisions. Implement cost control measures to ensure compliance with budget constraints, identify areas for cost reduction, and recommend cost saving initiatives. all cash activities on site are carried out correctly in accordance with company policies and comply with Ensure administration.
• Ensure the daily operations of petty cash and bank. including disbursement and reconciliation of fund are running well & comply with company regulation.

Requirements:

• Possess education Bachelor of Economics.
• Have min. 3 years of work experience in Mid-Management or 5 years as Senior
• Supervisor in related position. Excel in communication and presentation, financial analysis, leadership and team management, compliance and regulatory knowledge, also in strategic planning.
• Able to communicate in english.
• Willing to be placed in Wetar, Maluku with roster 4 weeks on-site and 2 weeks off (leave will be fully accomodated to PoH).
