Data Center Officer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor the health of all hardware in the Data Center (servers, virtualization, storage, network, etc.)
2. Troubleshoot errors/failures when they occur.
3. Manage daily, weekly, and monthly data backups.
4. Manage the data replication system between the Data Center and the Data Recovery Center.
5. Perform regular system updates and patching.
6. Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to users upon request.
7. Ensure security systems are in place for server room operations, facility management, infrastructure, and administrative compliance with security policy standards.
8. Design information system architecture and its implementation into the existing infrastructure in an integrated manner.
9. Run hardware diagnostics and replace faulty components on time.
10. Research technology trends and identify relevant innovations and development opportunities related to data center technology.
11. Carry out disaster prevention planning and data recovery.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Professional Data Center certification (e.g., VCP, RHCE) is a plus.
3. Minimum 2 years of experience as a System Engineer or similar role.
4. Proven experience with VMware vSphere 8, vSphere Replication, Veeam Backup & Replication, Dell server & storage hardware, and Backup vault solutions.
5. Strong understanding of data center concepts and security best practices.
6. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
