We are currently seeking an Project Advanced Engineer to join our team in our Jakarta office, reporting to Field Service Manager your focus is to successfully execute the day-to-day management, including the implementation of (corrective/preventive) action plans, continuous improvement of margin, customer satisfaction, resource development & allocation, working capital and safety performance

 

Advanced Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of service engineering and coordination activities for tasks assigned.
• Generates the functional specification document for assigned services and projects
• Analyse project specifications and provide detailed material requisitions for Honeywell and non-Honeywell products
• Review / prepare system materials, subcontract scope of work and project execution work, procedure and plan
• Ensure that design and implementation of engineering tasks assigned meets customer specification and standard engineering practice
• Participates in procurement activities and selection of vendors and third party components
• Manage and coordinate with supplier / contractor on all technical details to ensure their products or services delivered meet Honeywell’s specification
• Make progressive report of tasks status to the project manager, and provide early warnings of problems and concerns on implementing critical milestone tasks
• Give accurate estimates for the assigned tasks, cost and man-hours
• Deliver the assigned work in accurate and efficient manners
• Adhere to service project work plan and ensure the achievement of the work schedule
• Ensure company quality standard procedures are followed
• Maintain and improve job costs and profitability
• Monitor assigned manpower activities and guide them to achieve their assignments in accurate and efficient manners
• Perform design review of other service engineers’ work
• Work with other project manager and team to prepare and conduct system acceptance testing by customer

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Pulp and Paper industrial automation

WE VALUE

• Strong technical knowledge relevant to QCS (Quality Control System), WIS (Web Inspection System), WMS (Web Monitoring System), DCS (Distributed Control System)
• Knowledge for Pulp and Paper making process is essential
• Proficiency in PC software packages & Networking
• Knowledgeable with company products and procedures
• Ability to work in a team environment under minimum supervision
• Ability to adapt to pressure of service/project work
