Power System Expert Engineer

Experience Required:

Experienced in power system (planning-maintenance-design and studies) for at least fifteen (15) years out which at least ten (10) years In a responsible position as a Power system engineer for the Interconnected West European network and should have thorough knolodge of operational criteria under normat and abnormal system conditions and in particular interconnection transactions and contracts managements. In aaddition, one should have experience in using the available Siemens Spectrum On Line Software system for SCADA and Energy Management System and Dispatcher Training Simulation applications. Also experience in Design, Planning, Realization, and Operation of the power system and network studies (with at least ten (10) years' experience in power system studies using the PSS/E software ans at least five (5) years' experience working with a West European or similar network in studying and planning).

Education Required:

Power Engineer having Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering - Masters/Doctorate Degree shall be preferred.

 

Power economist specialist/business analyst/regulatory advisor

Experience Required:

At least fifteen (15) years' work experience of which a minimum of ten (10) years in tariff setting, financial/economic evaluation of power project, power system financial modules economic/financial dispatching management, power purchase/sale agreements, and power trade coordination. This experience is reguired to be in the European Interconnected System. Preference shall be given to a person familiar with the GCC Interconnected system Regulations.

Education Required:

Engineer having Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineerinf - Masters/Doctorate Degree in Power economics shalt be preferred

 

Operation specialist engineer

Experience Required:

Experienced in Power System Operation for at least twenty-five (25) years out which at least ten (10) years in responsible position as an operation engineer for network of similar size as that of State of Kuwait and should have thorough knowledge of operational criteria under normal and abnormal system conditions. Preference shall be given to a person familiar with the SCADA and EME System.

Education Required:

Power Engineer having Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering

 

Studies specialist engineer

Experience Required:

At least fifteen (15) years' combined experience in Design, Planning, Realization and Operation of the power system and network studies Iwith at least five (5) years' experience In power system studies using the PSS/EJ

Education Required:

Power Engineer having Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering

 

Protection specialist engineer

Experience Required:

At least twenty five (25) years combined experience in Protection Design, Planning. Setting, Realization and Network Studies (with at least ten (10) years' experience in network of similar size as that of State of Kuwait in studying, planning and implementation of relay selectivity programs using the PSS/E software and ASPEN OneLiner.

Education Required:

Power Engineer having Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering

 

Telemetry & Telecommunication specialist engineer

Experience Required:

Experienced in Telemetry & Telecommunication for at least twuenty five (2S) years out which at least ten (10) years ina responsible position as Telemetry & Communication Engineer for network of similar size as that of State of Kuwait and shoukd have thorough knowledge of Remote Terminal Units, VFT, PLC, Fiber Optic eguipment and fast inter-trip eguipment used for Over Head Lines.

Education Required:

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering

 

Contract specialist engineer

Experience Required:

Experienced in Contract Management and at least fifteen (15) years" work experience of which a minimum of ten (10) years in contact administration in an electrical utility SCADA & EMS engineering, environment with knowledge in clim handling and negotiation skills, budgeting, preparation of tendering documents, financial/technical evaluation. Preference shall be given to a person familiar with Supervisory Control Eguipment.

Education Required:

Engineer having Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering - Post Graduate degree/diploma in contract management shall be preferred.
