Mining Superintendent

PT Bumi Suksesindo is a subsidiary of Merdeka Copper Gold Group operating in Banyuwangi, East Java. Currently we are Looking for high qualified and motivated candidates to be part of our super team for the position:

Mining Superintendent

This position will be responsible for mining activities at the site and will direct and manage mine operation and its production target as determined by the company. This position will also be reviewing operation and production works on a timely basis and creating reports to the Mine Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor degree from Mining Engineer or related majors
• At least 15 years of experience in large mining industry and a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role as Mining Superintendent
• Possess valid Mining certification such as POM
• Able to make good communication and coordination with other departments such as; Drill & Blast team for drill area availability and sequence, the Geologist team for ore progress and waste materials, as well as with other related departments
• Knowing and understanding all mining aspects such as Mining Principles, Mine Operations, Employee Management, HSEQ Principles, Hazard Identification & Risks, etc
• Understanding HSE Management System and take individual responsibility for it, able to make HSE monitoring system and reporting, and able to take action immediately if needed
• Have strong and practice ethical leadership such as honesty, good decision making, responsible, and disciplined
• Good analytical thinking and problem solving
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to make conflict resolution 
• Able to develop a team and give coaching/ mentoring, mediation, etc.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
