Site Environment Engineer

KS Orka Renewables Pte Ltd is one of the prominent geothermal developers in the world with projects spread around 4 continents. In Indonesia, KS Orka is currently the majority owner of two geothermal development companies; one of them is 240 MW PT Sorik Marapi Geothermal Power (PT SMGP). PT SMGP currently has achieved Commercial Operation Date (COD) of Unit 1 and is looking for proficient and highly motivated individual for the following position:

LOCATION : Mandailing Natal, North Sumatera

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Develop Environment policy and procedure and ensure all employees can easily access and thoroughly understand the policy and procedure, including assisting Department Manager in review existing Environment policy and procedures
2. Carrying out regular Environment audits and report findings to management
3. Conduct Environment trainings and orientation as per company HSE Training matrix
4. Provide report on Environment Management and Monitoring Program to related government as required
5. Manage hazardous waste in accordance with applicable legislation
6. Coordinate with Corporate Environment in compiling all required environmental permits (AMDAL/UKL UPL, Water Drilling, Waste etc) to ensure its compliance with all applicable regulations.

JOB SPECIFICATION

1. Diploma or Bachelor Degree majoring Environmental Engineering from reputable University
2. Having minimum 5 years’ experience as Environment Engineer, preferable has experience in Geothermal Industry, oil and Gas, and/ or Renewable Energy Company
3. Knowledge in environmental applicable regulations in general and Geothermal Industry
4. Knowledge in UKL/UPL and AMDAL development and process
5. Proficient in English both oral and written
6. Good communication and interpersonal skill
7. Ability to work under pressure and to respond to critical deadlines
8. Preferable for candidates who are domiciled surround North Sumatera region
9. High motivation, good team work and able to work independently
10. Willing to locate in our Project Site at Sorik Marapi.
