Vessel Manager

We are looking for

Vessel Manager

Requirements:

• Holding Certificate of Competency Deck Officer Class 1
• Have a good knowledge for Navigation, Cargo Handling and stowage, controlling the operation of the ship & care for person on board and Radio Communication
• Hands-on with different types of vessel
• Min.15 years experience in marine operations
• Fluent in English
• Having knowledge in ISO with the update version

Responsibilities:

• Ensure adequate resource are provided and ships masters are informed of new or amended rules and regulations
• Provide guidance to Masters and staff on all towing, safety & marine related matters
• Responsible for maintenance and provision of all nautical publications to comply with statutory requirements, company and charterer's requirement
• Ensure all certification for deck related equipment are in place
• Arrange & conduct surveys to third party vessels
• Monitor vessel movements & generate voyage plans to the requirement of the charterer/project owners
• Monitor and control fuel consumption rate of in-house fleet & 3rd party vessels
• Select qualified crew to deploy for managed vessel & interview deck crew
• Give contribution for smile card minimum 1 in a month
