1. Job Title: Admin Assistant /Travel

Timika 12 months

Requirements:

  • Timika Resident
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an admin assistant.
  • Worked in Power Plant (Coal/Mining preferred)
  • Minimum high school certificate.
  • Good English skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good team player and good communicator.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the support services coordinator and the support services Manager to manage the project's team work schedule/roaster.
  • Establish and manage the project's team rotation tracker in coordination with the support services Manager.
  • Responsible for collecting the Project's team contractors time sheets/expense reports, submit them for approvals with complete supporting documents.
  • Coordinate the Project's team travel arrangement.
  • Responsible for keeping good inventory of office supplies such as hot drinks supplies/ printing papers etc.
  • Replace the support services coordinator while on rotation and handle the contractors on-boarding process.
  • Responsible for submitting MIS tickets for IT equipment, responsible for submitting office and camp maintenance requests.

 

2. Job Title: Material Handling Supervisor

Timika, 12 months

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience in materials handling field with bachelor's degree or 10 years' experience with a high School Diploma
  • Worked in Power Plant (Coal/Mining preferred)
  • Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, excel, power point, SAP systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and control the contractor and sub-container Material management execution according to Contactor Material Management Execution Plan.
  • Create VRMS and HMAF/OSH form for Contractors on system
  • Monitor Owner Purchased Materials from suppliers to Offsite facilities,
  • Monitor and control Project Materials (Owner Purchased and Contractors Materials) from Offsites to Cargo dock onsite,
  • Monitor and control Project Materials (Owner Purchased and Contractors Materials) scheduled by MCG/GSC from Cargo dock on site to Portsite and to MP32 laydown,
  • Monitor and control Project Materials (Owner Purchased and Contractors Materials) from Portsite Jetty to PSPP laydown,
  • To follow-up OSDR (over short damage Report) to Project Procurement to close out
  • To expedite the Urgent Owners Purchased materials to Procurement.
  • Processing Project's Material Request (MR) for Reservation, Procurement and PTFI Inter Departments services
  • Monitor and control MRs to close out, including back charging reporting to Project Contract Group
  • Monitor and control Backloads containers, Backloads for Owners and Vendor Materials from PSPP laydown to Cargo Dock and from MP32 laydown to Cargo dock
  • Monitor and control Scrap materials according to Project instruction and regulations
  • Organizing with KPI for the Barge and handling Equipment utilization at Portsite to support the Project requirement
  • Recording, Filing and Reporting.
  • Hand-over document, materials to operation.
  • Preparation to Close out the PSPP Projects

 

3. Job Title: Document Controller

Timika, 12 months

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 10+ years as Document Controller
  • Worked in Power Plant (Coal/Mining preferred)
  • Engineering technical background
  • Basic Construction Management
  • Project administration

 

4. Job Title: Civil Field Supervisor

Timika 12 months

Requirements:

  • A proven background within civil construction, 7-10 years, which will include extensive experience within major earthworks, road works, excavation and mobile operations
  • Extensive experience as a stand-alone supervisor of civil projects up to $5 million
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues, subcontractors, clients and other stakeholders
  • We are particularly interested in candidates with demonstrated experience in a broad range of civil projects including but not limited to, major earthworks, road works, pavements, traffic management, highway duplications and civil infrastructure.
  • Expert in QA/QC Civil preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting into Project Manager you will be responsible for monitoring the constructions activities of the site crew to ensure that they meet their safety and quality obligations. Drawing from your hands on experience in civil construction you will ensure project deadlines are hit by assisting in the development of the schedules and driving team performance.
  • Providing confident and competent leadership to a project and employees, including sub-contractors
  • Deliver all projects safely, cost effectively, on time and on budget
  • Identify all issues, which may increase costs of the project and in consultation with the Project Manager implement corrective actions
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of all aspects of all projects for which you are responsible
  • Planning of works on-site necessary to deliver the project, including plant and equipment, labor, materials, sub-contractors and any other resources
  • Direction of all works on-site necessary to deliver the project, including plant and equipment, labor, materials, sub-contractors and any other resources
  • Reporting of all activities that occur on-site each day, as required by the Project Specification and the Quality, OH&S, Environment
  • Management of all OH&S, Quality and Environmental management issues on site for which you are responsible for.

 

5. Job Title: Field Mechanical Engineer

Timika 12 months

Requirements:

  • Experienced Mechanical Supervisor with proven experience within a minerals processing environment. Ideally you will have high level computer skills in Microsoft Suite with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.
  • Mechanical trade qualification
  • A track record of achieving results in limited time frames
  • Relevant experience assessing equipment failures
  • Positive commitment to safety
  • A practical & hands-on approach to work and excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to a large team responsible for the maintenance and performance of leading edge processing facilities.
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Assist in providing systems for improving processes and equipment reliability
  • Reviewing and auditing maintenance practices
  • Mentoring tradespeople to increase skill and performance
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with contractors to achieve business objectives.

 

6. Job Title: Junior Cost Controller

Timika 12 months

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate engineering disciplined and 5+ years related experience in engineering/construction
  • Must be a good communicator, a working understanding of Microsoft applications in particular Excel
  • Experience in Mining or Oil and Gas Industry

Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision, provides project control support as required to the cost lead and project controls manager which will include: general project management functions, cost and schedule analysis, and project reporting.
  • Describe the fundamental duties and functions of the position
  • Assist Senior / Cost Controller for larger projects by performing analysis and compiling information
  • Preparation of project back-up for invoicing and administration of the invoicing process
  • Assist on internal and external invoice approval
  • Follow-up on man-hours and cost monitoring for the updates of changes to the forecast
  • Assist in processing and monitoring project change notices and reporting of changes through Change Management System.
  • Assist in Monthly Project Cost Report computation
  • Follow up reimbursable costs
  • Increase other Department awareness of the Cost Control function
  • Review contractor equipment logs, time sheets, supplier invoices and contracts to check that equipment and personnel are being utilized as specified.

  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate engineering disciplined and 5+ years related experience in engineering/construction
  • Highly organized - should have a passion for organization, strong experience with excel and working with large datasets, experience managing multiple responsibilities with time sensitive deadlines, comfortable working in a fluid environment where visions and requirements may change, ability to work independently, or to work with technical staff with a collaborative, hands-on approach
  • Experience in Mining or Oil and Gas Industry

Responsibilities:

  • Under minimal supervision, provides project control support as required to the project controls manager which will include: - general project management functions, cost and schedule analysis, and project reporting.
  • Describe the fundamental duties and functions of the position
  • Refine and/or develop systems to efficiently compile data from multiple sources, manage this collection and develop reporting methods to drive transparency and clarity of the status of the expansion project and facilitate overall performance management
  • Ensure accuracy of data reporting quality and consistency
  • Provide ongoing optimization of the project reporting system/s and data management
  • Drive reporting and data management best practices throughout a multi-functional team
  • Tailor reporting of key performance indicators (KPI s) to a variety of audiences (executive team level down to individual project contributor level).

8. Job Title: Expat - Lead Cost/Estimator

Timika, Expatriate, 12 months

Summary:

Plan, coordinate, implement, and execute corporate InEight Hard Dollar estimating software and provide all estimating and proposal deliverables for right-of-way ("ROW") and Power Delivery projects with all types of contracts ranging from time and materials, unit price, and lump sum while providing technical and administrative direction to ensure division, group, and corporate objectives are met while developing and maintaining lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.  Executes our Core Values and Priorities - Integrity, Safety, Quality, and Production to guide our business practices that ensures P&J is committed to a Zero Incident Philosophy of no harm to person, property, the environment, or our reputation.

Requirements:

  • Regional Expat or KITAS Holder preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of estimating software such as InEight Hard Dollar or HCSS Heavy Bid; InEight Hard Dollar Experience Preferred
  • Knowledge of design, estimating, construction, finance, and management.

Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards and activities.   

  • Accounting (math and record-keeping) to include the ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations as needed to examine construction operations including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in utilizing Google Earth, Esri ArcGIS, Bluebeam Revu, ShareFile, FTP Sites, and similar software; Esri ArcGIS Experience is Preferred.
  • Effective communication (oral, written, presentation, listening).
  • Effective motivational and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical specifications, drawings, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • 10+ years' experience in similar construction estimating, cost control, or management role with related functions plus thorough knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts is required.
  • Ability to estimate all types of projects/contracts plus the ability to coordinate and supervise group work is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • May directly supervise up to 3 team members. Assist in establishing bid teams, pre-bid meeting attendance, making work assignments, and implementing / monitoring the progress of estimates and proposals. Mentoring of junior estimating team members.

 

9. Job Title: Expat - Quantity Surveyor/Estimator

Timika, Expatriate, 12 months

Requirements

  • Regional Expat or KITAS Holder preferred
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Quantity Survey, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): AutoCad.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
  • Proficiency in local tendering and estimation experience is strongly encourage to apply.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in managing multiple projects within tight timeline.
  • Able to work independently with minimum guidance
  • Building & Construction experience is added advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Accurate monthly forecasting
  • Ability to challenge resources and costs
  • Maintaining deadlines in line with monthly commercial calendar
  • Provide commercial support to the project team, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and ensure that the Company's objectives are achieved. They will liaise with customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues including agreement of variations, claims and any additional payments.
  • Reporting ensure robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit level
  • Ensure accurate cash flow reporting takes place
  • Carry out cost management including forecasting Update the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans and have accountability, along with the project team for the commercial performance and strategy processes
  • Help ensure that commercial processes are adhered to across the business unit
  • Actively seek to improve processes and procedures
  • Have a good understanding of the processes and procedures used by any JV/Alliance and assist in their development and improvement
  • Ensure that any main contracts entered into have terms and conditions that are appropriate with commercial risks identified
  • Ensure that the supply chain are engaged appropriately with the correct contract terms and conditions
  • Ensure that good client relationships are fostered
  • Be responsible for subcontract letting, negotiation and financial accounting Internal relationships
  • Effectively assist in managing the commercial team, including cost clerks and commercial support staff
  • Ensure effective interaction between the commercial team and the operational site teams
  • Supervise and mentor Quantity Surveyors
