We are currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the following role to be based in our Head Office Jakarta :
Manager – Reserve, Cost and Evaluation
Responsibilities:
- To carry out Pit Optimization, work with Whittle Four X Optimizer based on provided block model and based internal historical mining site’s operational costs for green/brown fields Au and provide high level financial analysis.
- To work closely with Exploration team in optimizing reserve growth based on pit optimization results.
- To be responsible for Mine Design, Mine Staging Plan, LOM Planning & Scheduling, Waste Dump Design, Site Access Design, major infrastructure layout review as well as equipment selection process.
- To provide regular technical reports to Indonesian Energy & Mineral Resources Ministry to fulfill statutory governmental reporting requirements.
- To act as Principal Author to Annual Reserve Statements (JORC Code and KCMI Code “Indonesian Standard”) and Cut-off grade to financial models development.
- To perform as Principal Technical Contributor to formal Feasibility Study in getting formal government permit/license prior to any new site/existing site expansion as required.
- To review proposed Budget and/or Quarterly Forecast Mine Plans through Life of Mine prior to Board of Directors approval.
- To manage the continuous reconciliation process from resources block model through actual produced gold bars.
- To monitor the production achievement progress in monthly, quarterly and yearly basis and actively provide some resolutions from technical point of views.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Mine Engineering
- More than 10 years of experience in Gold Mine Engineering / Operations (> 5 years in managerial role).
- Technically strong in Mine Planning, Scheduling and Pit Design.
- Strong knowledge in the Whittle 4.x, XPAC and Surpac 6.x
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on-own initiative.
