 Job Title: Logistic and Custom Manager

Main Responsibilities:

1. Act as matrix manager to logistics/ invoice and customs/ purchasing team members in Indonesia
2. Set and follow up targets for the virtual team members
3. Lead country strategy and action plan creation and align activities within to logistics/ invoice and customs/ purchasing team, closely together with stakeholders
4. Ensure full compliance of customs and related laws in close cooperation with WGLS. Tariff code maintenance and audit accountability
5. Create a governance model with key stakeholders and lead reporting and decision making accordingly
6. Actively lead and support problem-solving in escalated issues from stakeholders
7. Ensure that objectives, targets and KPIs/PIs on Quality, Delivery Reliability, Cost and Lead-times are met
8. Ensure appropriate service and support to all the stakeholders in Indonesia
9. Head regular to logistics/ invoice/ customs/ purchasing team meetings and ensure timely reporting to MD and Company controller
10. Manage and develop local supplier base, relationships and negotiations in close cooperation with stakeholders
11. Manage senior relations with Wärtsilä's local key suppliers
12. Manage the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) - process implementation locally in cooperation with area purchasing
13. Manage and follow up the implementation of strategic initiatives locally
14. Secure agreement and price list coverage, supplier capacity and reliability, taking the crossdivisional aspect into account
15. Gather and distribute best practices between the entities and ensure adequate communication between them
16. Ensure that Indirect Purchasing processes and targets are known and supported locally. Work closely with area rganization
17. Head and manage the local logistics and warehousing team
18. Understands and applies best credit management terms with suppliers
19. Permanent invitee to the Country Management Team meetings

Job Specification :

• - Having a good understanding of local legislation & labor laws
• - Excellence at negotiation and presentation skill
• - Minimum bachelor degree in any discipline
• - Having strong organizational and analytical skills, high-pressure resistant, team player
• - A minimum of 10 years experience with at least 1 year in a similar position
