DRILL & BLAST SUPERINTENDENT

(Placement : Site)

JOB PURPOSE :

Coordinate and develop the competence of Drilling & Blasting teams in all projects so that they are able to carry out blasting activities according to operating standards and QHSE standards with optimum results so as to support fleet productivity and ensure the availability of explosives, permits and all administration related to blasting.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor and supervise the activities of Drill & Blast Engineers in several projects.
• Control stock explosives, plastic liners, solar dyes, drilling consumables, drill rods at all times.
• Control the warehouse permits, P3, P2 & P1 permits at any time.
• Perform collect data drilling & blasting from the site.
• Carry out detailed records of drill patterns, locations, during blasting, explosive use and blasting results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering.
• Experience as a Drill & Blast Superintendent for at least 5 years in a coal mining contracting company.
• Preferably have a minimum total experience of 15 years in mining contractors.
• Experienced in doing work processes strategically and operationally.
• Proficient to operate mine scape, shotplus, and others drilling & blasting software design.
• POM mining standard certification.
• Sertification of KJL 2
