PT. Macmahon Indonesia

PT. Macmahon Indonesia is a multinational mining contractor company and has a combined mining experience of 50 years including projects throughout Indonesia. PT Macmahon Indonesia entered in to an Alliance with PT Amman Minerals in late 2017 and have performed Mine and Support services at the Batu Hijau operation since November 2017.

To further support the Batu Hijau operation, the Alliance is seeking motivated and high-qualified candidates to join our team on either a Residential or FIFO roster.

Superintendent – Training

This position has responsibilities for Licensing, Mobile Equipment (Light and Medium truck), Fixed Plant Mechanical, Electrical (high voltage) and Safety Training. This includes the planning, implementation, and monitoring of all related Training Areas.

We are looking for an energetic and proactive Superintendent – Training who is familiar with the Legislation and the various Government requirements to enable site to certify our employees in trained competencies (LSP).

Qualifications:

• 5 years of Technical and / or Vocational Training Management experience within the Mining or similar industries.
• Minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
• Ability to analyze, administrative policies, procedures and systems of work and apply that into a training context.
• Fluency in English communication both written and spoken will be viewed favourably.
• Having POP and/or POM and/or Ahli K3 umum and/or Ahli K3 Listrik will preferred

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Training supervisors comply with standards, work procedures and other procedures
• Develop and implement Training Need Analysis (TNA) strategies and provide training and assessment advice to individuals and teams in accordance with training management plans.
• Plan and deliver training were appropriate and /or coordinate and maintain partnerships with external Training Providers
• Develop, monitor and maintain Administration proficiencies within Non-mining department (Process, Power Plant, MEWS etc.)
• Advise on the application of the training system procedures such as delivery of training, assessment and evaluation of training.
• Assist and advise with the design and development of learning material specific to the Non-mining department (Process, Power Plant, MEWS etc.)
• Provide advice and support to managers and supervisors in relation to the development needs of their staff.
• Develop and promote continuous improvement to Non-mining department (Process, Power Plant, MEWS etc.)
• Ensure all training and assessments undertaken within Non-mining department (Process, Power Plant, MEWS etc.) is current, in accordance with required standards, and complies with company and legislative requirements as specified within various acts.
• Liaise with managers and supervisors to ensure training actions are aligned to production targets and safety standards
• Understand and actively demonstrate the AMNT/Alliance core values
• Lead and motivate subordinates to demand high standards of performance in all areas to achieve agreed targets
