EARTHWORK SUPERINTENDENT
(Assignment: Timika Based)
Monitor and control Earthworks resources (people and equipment) in field operation in term of support construction manager to ensure production is achieved in accordance with project parameters, project schedule, budget, in compliance with company’s project safety and environmental policy.
Requirements:
- Min. Diploma degree with 10 years or S1 with 7 years experiences in engineering areas
- Min. 5 years experiences in leadership roles holding Electrical & Instrument Supervisor or Superintendent Positions
- Good understanding & implementation of earthwoks methods
- Creative thinking and ability to manage the work systems
- Good leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, control and supervise labor in a day to day basis, direct subcontract, and all non-labor resources in order to ensure project completed on schedule, conform with the standard of quality specified
- Provide leadership and direction to all Earthworks operations team including monitor their performance in order to maintain and enhance team performance
- Monitor and control the implementation of Earthworks plan and manage that all necessary resources are available at site in order to meet the construction schedule through regular construction meetings
- Understanding the basics of the project budget, monitor and control the Earthworks budget to ensure that costs do not exceed budget
- Initiates, develops and improve the implementation of construction methodology and equipment utilization to improve efficiency
- Review client specifications and drawings to ensure the requirements defined are incorporated into the work
- Support and assist the Project Safety Superintendent in actively promoting a safety culture and awareness in order to enhance safety awareness among personnel and prevent LTI
- Discuss pertinent topics at daily pre-start meetings and weekly toolbox meetings in order to Provide a safe and healthy work environment
- Provide Construction Manager and Project Manager with construction schedules, cost forecasts and progress statistics in order to updated current situation.
ESTIMATING MANAGER
(Assignment: Head Office)
Manage and lead the process of estimation across all disciplines in the company from tender preparation to the actual implementation and ensure that all estimates are built up in accurate, reliable, and systematically conform to company’s procedures and current situation.
Requirements:
- Minimal Bachelor degree preferably in Engineering
- Min. 10 years experiences as estimator/Lead Estimator
- May require local & overseas travel for site visits as well as occasional short term assignments to work in other Petrosea / Indika offices, partners’ offices etc.
- Overtime working will be required from time to time
- May require acting as Estimating Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Manages estimate preparation and submission
- Organize and facilitate the review and approval of proposals
- Ensure quality, integrity and accuracy of all proposals
- Allocation of resources (estimating & proposal) for tender preparation
- Prepare and review tender budget and monitor actual and planned expenditure
- Develop resource utilization plans
- Complete Tender Document Executive Summary Form
- Sign off the Final Review packs
- Coordinates the completion of all required tender deliverables, submission text and attachments

PROJECT MANAGER (ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION)
(EXPATRIATE)
(Assignment: Timika Based)
Plan, direct and control a project from the date of award to the issue of a practical completion certificate and ideally be involved until end of the maintenance period to ensure a project is running well, completed on time and to budget in accordance with all the company standard procedures and to the total satisfaction of the clients.
Requirements:
- Min. Bachelor Degree, preferably in Engineering
- Min. 10 years previous experiences in construction and engineering
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and construction management principles and practices and the associated flow of design and construction project management
- Ability to recognize potential claims and manage project contract activities to avoid costly claims and litigation
- Ability to supervise and evaluate the work of subordinates
- Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
- Ability to develop and maintain effective monitoring and control systems and carry them to the intended conclusions to meet Agency goals for the program
- Willing to work extended hours to meet the deadline.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and control the flow of work for a construction project, including estimating time, supplies and personnel required for completing the project to ensure that projects are being carried out according to established plan
- Direct, control and execute the Project by conducting a kick off meeting with the Project Team, assign duties and responsibilities as detailed in the functional matrix in order to ensure project initial are well manage
- Direct, review and analyses client specifications and documents to ensure the requirements defined are incorporated into the works and the responsibilities allocated under the project quality system are understood and implemented
- Prepare, control and implement project budgets, construction schedules, project reporting, progress assessment and project execution plan, take personal responsibility and accountability for cash flow, receivables and return on capital of the project to ensure budget are meet with operational needs and requirements
- Interface and coordinate subcontract activities to ensure that they will support the achievement of project aims and the support of company construction objectives
- Direct, monitor and utilize company’s equipment efficiently, maintain schedule compliance on planned maintenance and reduce cost as appropriate in order to optimize asset utilization
- Direct, submit and negotiate claims to settlement as required to ensure that progress claims are submitted and paid in a timely manner
- Plan, analyze and establish detailed cost forecasts, manage variations in order to close out to maximize returns in a timely manner
- Direct, control and manage all statutory permits and approvals as required to proceed with the contract to ensure all permits and formalities are complete and valid
- Establish to maintain and manage all stakeholders interests to ensure harmonious and cooperative relationships in industrial relations, community relations and staff welfare in all aspects of the project

PROJECT SERVICES MANAGER (ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION EXPATRIATE)
(Assignment: Head Office)
Responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating includes contract amendment that supports business objectives. Develop negotiation strategies with internal business partners; evaluate risks exposure, and makes recommendations to business partner or legal counsel. Liaise with internal organization to limit commercial risks and ensure compliance with internal contract principle.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Law/Civil Engineering/Mine Engineering major
- A minimum 8 years experiences within mining or construction industries, and 5 years contract and analysis experiences
- Good understanding and implementations of Laws and procedures
- Good understanding on the company’s business activities and its related (Particularly Mining Business Lines
- Having analytical and understanding of contractual obligations and its impact on profitability and the requirements to meet these
- Having proficiency in risk management
- Strong communication and negotiation skill
- Good managerial skill, analytical thinking, and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to Strategic Business Development through enhancement of existing Mining operations and the development of new business opportunities or initiatives
- Serve as the point of contact for the company on Mining contractual matters. Act as contractual “middleman” between company, employees and customers, as required to ensure timely reviews and approval / reconciliation of variations
- Support the preparation of tenders/proposals/approvals for new work and participate in the review process prior to submission
- Responsible (various: including formal, short form, and annual contracts) for the Drafting, Evaluation, Negotiation and Execution of contract documentation
- On all standard and nonstandard contracts, provide redlined recommendations and negotiate directly with client teams including legal until consensus has been reached
- Monitor competitive terms. Monitor customer compliance with our terms and conditions and contracting practices. Recommend changes as required
- Ensure contract close-out, extension or renewal as required

- Work with Risk Management Department / Finance to coordinate contractual insurance requirements

SENIOR PLANNER
(Assignment: Head Office)
Plan, coordinate, schedule and monitor all maintenance activities in >6 months horizon pertaining to asset project (heavy equipment) in order to ensure all maintenance activities in project are effective and efficient in timely manner conform to the project schedule and budget.
Requirements:
- Min. Education & experience:
- Min S1 Engineering with 7 years’ experience in heavy equipment Mtc operation & Planning, or
- Min D3 Engineering (preferably Mechanical) with 10 years’ experience in heavy equipment Mtc operation & Planning, or
- Min STM Mechanical with 15 years’ experience in heavy equipment Mtc operation and Mtc Planning
- Experience / familiar in using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) Program
- Strong knowledge and concept for setting up Preventive Maintenance
- Preferably to have on-hand experience in :
- Work Planning and Scheduling
- Maintenance Budgeting/Planning Cost
- Maintenance Data and Task Analysis (Oil Analysis, Condition Monitoring, RCM, Reliability)
- Excellent computer skill
- Able to work in detail, time management, target oriented, good reporting system
- Able to show and maintain good attitude, open, honest, proactive and respecting other
- Willing to work in Jakarta with extensive travel to project/sites in remote areas
- Internal candidate (existing employee) with lower education background may be considered if having some proven experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide long term maintenance planning (>3 months) applied to all company asset (or at the moment is applied on heavy equipment in the company for Mining operation), release on time as per schedule complete with parts/component schedule and its budgeted cost/spend.
- Coordinate with Maintenance (Mtc) Planning Superintendent, Mtc Planning Coordinator and Component Planning Coordinator to develop Long term (>3 months) maintenance planning schedules for multi purposes resources planning e.g. budgeting, parts & component planning, man power and tooling planning.
- Coordinate with User (e.g. Mining) Engineering team (e.g. Mine Engineering Supt or Senior Mining Engineer) to build robust approach in preparing long term maintenance planning.
- Coordinate with Asset Finance team in providing long term maintenance budgeting and meeting Corporate Finance need on finance-related forecasted data/cost in regard with Mtc operation.
- Coordinate with Mtc System & Strategy section to identify and check the integrity of data, approach and current system capability to produce robust long term Mtc plan.
- Prepare and monitor the implementation of Shutdown planning in order to increase the plan accuracy and to ensure all resources and materials are on hand when required.
- Check and investigate all variances from target and report to Planning Manager in order to maintain data accuracy and improving the robustness of the approach in building-up the Long term Mtc plan.
- Analyze in general the historical event/cost and provide information to Asset Engineering team on likely event to adjust based on data/fact.
- Originate, monitor and control requests for parts and resources in order to ensure they are available when required and without contributing to “overstock” and unnecessary storage of parts.
- Support and advise Inventory Controller regarding to stock level availability in order to determine accurate minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.
