Project Delivery and Turnaround Manager

About The Role

Kaltim Nitrate Indonesia (KNI) is a joint venture company between Orica and Armindo Group. KNI is determined to be the safest and best performing Ammonium Nitrate Manufacturing facility in the world. We are currently seeking a Project Delivery and Turnaround Manager role at our KNI Bontang Plant in East Kalimantan, Indonesia.

This role will be focus on growth, optimisation and cost involving every part of the organisation. The Workstream Leads are accountable for leading, driving and delivering transformation initiatives for their Regional/Site or Functional workstream. Regional workstreams include: APA, LatAm, North America, EAA and Minova. Functional workstreams include: Marketing and Technology, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Support Functions and Management, Trade Working Capital, Health and SHE. This position will report to Senior Manager Global Project Management and will work on 5 days on and 2 days off roster.

What you will be doing:

• Complying with Orica's safety standard and procedure,
• Leading the planning and implementation of assigned projects,
• Monitoring document and report to key stakeholders on the progress and performance of the assigned projects,
• Ensuring compliance with project governance processes and procedures,
• Actively participate and contribute to improvement processes within the CM site/IS region PMO team and broader PMO team,
• Establishing and or maintaining 10 year turnaround look ahead for the site,
• Participate in benchmarking with comparable sites, to benchmark performance.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in  an Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience,
• 10 - 15 years experience in the management of Capital Projects in petrochemical, explosives manufacturing, or mineral processing.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Internet and ability to utilize SAP financial reporting functions,
• Direct involvement (10 years) in Plant Turnarounds, Equipment Reliability/Integrity and maintenance tasks,
• Strong communication skills to motivate employees, suppliers, internal and external stakeholders and line management,
• Having strong leadership skills to effect change throughout the market of influence,
• Ability to proved strategic influence and interaction with the HR, Engineering, Supply Chain, Technical, Field Services, Safety, Business unites and corporate support with no direct reports.
