Position 1 – Technical Support Specialist (GCC)- ID63970462
Job Description:
From rapid response and performance improvement to operational efficiency and life-cycle management, Service is one of our fastest-growing areas.
You will deliver the Technical Service Specialist service portfolio to ABB customers within the Energy portfolio management in Bali, Indonesia. Reporting to Technical Manager, you will also act as the technical point of contact between customers and extended ABB teams.
Reporting to the Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:
- Acting as a first point of contact and owner of queries and issues raised by the customer.
- Providing consultation, diagnosis, escalation, status reporting and resolution implementation to reported problems.
- Ensuring customer service level agreements are met.
- Entering commands and observing system functions to verify correct system operation.
- Investigating reported problems and defects at a detailed level, to enable developers to easily reproduce and fix software defects.
- Liaising with Professional Services’ Project Managers to ensure implementation projects receive the necessary support.
- Interacting with sales regarding any opportunities with customer.
- Building rapport and relationships with customer technical and business contacts.
- Interacting with Finance and Renewals to stay in tune with customer contract and financial position.

Requirement:
Key requirements include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Management.
- More than 5 years of experience working as a Technical /Application / Product Support Specialist with the IT Industry.
- Familiarity with ticketing system, case management and documentation are mandatory.
- Have solid experience in conducting technical discussion with customers, preferably via online meetings and teleconference.
- Comfortable working on remote mode with customers and colleagues globally.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
Technical Background
- Good SQL skill – ability to read/write complex queries – is mandatory.
- Proven experience with UNIX system is mandatory. Preferably including pattern matching, regex or similar.
- Proven scripting and/or programming experience is an advantage.
- Experience with any cloud hosted / virtualization solutions and networking is an added value.
