Superintendent - Human Resources Job PT Agincourt Resources UT Group

Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mine covers an area of 30 km² that falls under the sixth generation of Contract of Work (CoW) covering a total area of 1,639 km².

The resource base on 31 December 2017 includes 8.8 Moz of gold and 72 Moz of silver. Production commenced at Martabe on 24 July 2012. The operating capacity of Martabe Gold Mine is in excess of 5 mtpa ore to produce in excess of 300,000 oz of gold and 2-3 Moz of silver per annum.

PT Agincourt Resources engages more than 2,600 employees and contractors, with approximately 98% Indonesians, of which more than 70% were recruited from local people.

To strengthen the existing maintenance management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

SUPERINTENDENT – HUMAN RESOURCES

This position will be based at Martabe Site in Human Resources Department, working on schedule 4 Weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Manager – Human Resources.

The Role of Superintendent – Human Resources is to manage across all HR function supporting the Manager - Human Resources in HR administrative processes and procedures, ensure the effective industrial/external relations, compensation & benefits, expat formalities, recruitment of key personnel and to provide operational support to the Martabe operations, Jakarta and site offices to enable business objectives to be met and  demanded to be able help internal HR Development, inspire motivate, provide and become role models for all employees.

This Role is be back to back with Manager - Human Resources in managing HR function a whole.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

1. Bachelor degree in Law, Social Politic and Psychology.
2. Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or a related discipline.
3. 10+ years Superintendent / Managerial / Management experience within an HR Department in the mining and minerals processing.
4. Strategic thinking and planning skills – can contribute to the development and implementation of high-level strategy and business planning.
5. Broad and substantial core technical HR knowledge and skills, including talent management, learning & development, IR, ER, compliance, performance management and remuneration.
6. Internal consulting and influencing skills – can communicate complex concepts and advice to senior management and promote favorable behavior change in management.
7. Solid grasp of pertinent Indonesian legislation and mining regulations and operating conditions, especially Occupational Health and Safety.
8. Initiate and effect change and achieve required results.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. Able to develop excellent relationships with peers internal and external to PTAR.
11. Is sensitive to and understands the cultural sensibilities of indigenous local people.
12. Has a broad knowledge of PTAR broad operations, mining and commodities.
13. Able to regularly meet tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
14. Acts with integrity and is trustworthy with confidential information.
15. Self-directed to achieve individual, team and organizational goals.
16. Toward of a team-based culture – motivates others to achieve their targets and work collaboratively.
17. Maintain external networks that will provide the company access to the best professional services as required.
