PT. Macmahon Indonesia is a multinational mining contractor company and has a combined mining experience of 50 years including projects throughout Indonesia. We’re seeking motivated, high qualified candidates to join our international team with FIFO in South Africa on a 4:2 roster.

SHORT TERM MINE PLANNING ENGINEER

(International Experience)

General qualifications:

• Indonesia nationality fluency in English
• Bachelor of Engineering or suitable
• Experienced in delivery of best practice mining processes and planning systems.
• Strong team player and commitment to upholding the Company value
• Minimum 7+ years’ experience preferably in a planning, commercial, engineering design function in mining industry
• Broad range of open pit mining skills encompassing mine design, mine scheduling, mine optimizations, and financial analysis
• Drivers Licence (manual)

List desirable:

• Strong interpersonal, influencing, communication and motivating skills
• High energy, commitment and enthusiasm for the work with high personal goals for self and team
• High problem solving ability
• Able to effectively manage cross functional & conflicting interests to achieve desired outcomes
• High energy, commitment and enthusiasm for the work with high personal goals for self and team
• Has experience in advising or training
