Junior Mine Engineer (Code: JMEIV)

Purpose of the role:

To produce planning, production scheduling, high quality design, project development and monitoring the progress in order to support the overall success of meeting the department objectives.

Accountabilities:

• Ensure compliance to environmental, safety procedures, standards and policies.
• Prepare and develop reliable pit design using Vulcan and perform field inspections, design the mining hill using all data geology such: block model, ore zone, ore type, grade distribution, stripping ratio, etc.
• Prepare and develop Main Haul Road and Disposai design includes cost estimate refers to PTVI Standard.
• Develop Yearly Budget and Quarterly Forecast Plan includes: Monthly production plan, equipment model calculation, etc.
• Develop Hill Master Plan package report.
• Determine all mine development capital required for budget plan, produce Mine Development Capital Design such as road, dyke, pond, and assist Mine Engineer to develop business case for mine development capital.
• Prepare simple or basic cost estimated, cost evaluation, NPV and sensitivity cost analysis and opportunities project to reduce the cost. Present costing, economic benefits and business case of any mine initiatives / improvement required.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree (51) in Mine Engineering with minimum GPA is 2.90 (scale 4)
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, preferably having experience in mine planning (short/medium/long term planning).
• Certified Pengawas Operational Pratama (POP) by ESDM is preferred
• Familiar with MS Office (word, excel, power point) with complex formula and macro data basis
• Knowledgeable in operating mining programs software, such as: Vulcan, TALPAC, MineSched, Arc GIS, etc is preferred
• Good in English (written and ora!)
• Maximum age at 1 May 2019 is 35 years.
