SPECIALIST TRAINING MINING (Fixed Term Basis – 926350)

(BALIKPAPAN)

Some of your duties will include:

  • To train and assess TCI mining operations personnel in all aspects of mining operations in order to achieve maximum productivity with a high focus on safety. This will include delivery of mining operations operator, mining L/H, mining trainer and supervisor training and assessment;
  • Provide Heavy equipment training such as: Excavator, Bulldozer, Truck, Grader, compactor and other support equipment in construction business for Thiess personnel in order to increase the productivity, maintenance and improve personnel's capability. Including delivering effective theoretical & Practical training in accordance with Thiess standard;
  • Assist in the design of training material which is relevant to used competency standards;
  • Conduct assessment activities in accordance with TCI TMS and relevant Australian competency standards
  • Develop the skills proficiency of workplace trainers and assessors
  • Actively involved in maintain and monitor of training equipment used for training activities and provide report to superiors when noncompliance found;
  • Provide accurate report and feedback of training activities to site supervision and TCI Training & Development supervisors in order to keep the alignment systems between Training & Development and sites and assist in database improvement.

What skills and experience do you need?

  • Minimum graduated from Senior High School/ vocational school or similar with minimum of 10 years’ experience within the mining and/or construction industry as a HE Operator; 3-5 years’ experience as a mining operations trainer and or supervisor; familiar with Heavy earth moving equipment operator codes including truck and/or excavator/dozer/grader/wheel loader; Highway truck codes; Certificate IV in Workplace Training; POP Certification;
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal); facilitation skills; presentation skills; have self-confident, familiar with work in under pressure and computer literacy;

 

SUPERINTENDENT REMUNERATION BENEFIT - 926350

Some of your duties will include:

  • Conducting job analysis interviews and writing job descriptions. Also provide analysis reports on job evaluation activities, salary surveys and structures, compensation programs, and market trends monitoring the organization’s salary structure and benefits provision to ensure a balance between control of costs and attracting and retaining staff;
  • Provides analysis and recommendations for competitive market peer community of V companies, perquisite practices, and salary, bonus, long-term incentive approaches;
  • Assist in company activities associated with maintaining the job management/control V process including validation of job definition criteria and job mapping;

Some of your duties will include:

  • To coordinate Learning and Development business process and initiatives in particular area/site projects in bringing capable and motivating workforce within HR applicable guidelines of maintaining consistency;
  • To contribute to the success of PT Thiess Contractors Indonesia by effectively monitoring, evaluating and developing and implementing plans to meet staff learning and development needs within TCI

ROTATING SITE SENIOR DOCTOR - 925412

Some of your duties will include:

  • Provide administer and execute the implementation of TCI employee health & medical program on site;
  • Liaise with external medical providers to ensure employees and their family are treated appropriately;
  • Act as Corporate Health Services representative on site;

Some of your duties will include;

  • Provide training to TCI employees & apprentices in all aspects of mechanical in order to increase the productivity, maintenance and improve personnel's capability. Including delivering effective theoretical & practical training in accordance with Thiess standard;
  • Assist in the design of training material which is relevant to use competency standards;
  • Actively involved in maintain and monitor of training equipment used for training activities and provide report to superiors when non compliance found;

SUPERINTENDENT PLANT – BIG DIGGER - 926351

Some of your duties will include:

  • Lead, organize and provide direction for employees to ensure required goal and performance is achieved in people performance, HSE&Q outcomes and the business results;
  • Manage the relevant mobile plant assets to To ensure that the Maintenance Department goals are achieved DIGGER MTBF>50%, PM>45%, MA>90%, No TSE breach,  Zero LTI, by following the procedures which are set up in TGS;
  • Ensure maximum communication levels are maintained between workshop and operations personnel regarding breakdowns safety issues, and prioritizing of the equipment repairs;
  • Ensure there is effective utilization of plant personnel and resources to achieve optimum performance in all facets;
  • Assist Plant Planning & Sites in the development of structured plant maintenance schedules; optimize major rebuild schedules with Plant Planning; Ensure that daily maintenance schedule and digger refueling time are carried out in safe and monitored; Planning and Coordination of shutdown work in cooperation with Planning Department. Ensure all repairs are carried out in and effective cost and timely manner;

  • Trade Qualifications or Maintenance / Engineering qualification with minimum 12 years trade experience in large mining or construction industry and has minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role as Superintendent Mechanic for Big Digger unit such as Hitachi and Liebherr Excavators; Staff Management;

  • Ensure all WOs open status have been compared with current break down equipment to make sure all WOs are controlled and closed if the job has been done.
  • Review DOOD (Daily Outstanding Operator Defect), SOS report, mechanical inspection are analysed and reviewed and also ensure it is submitted in daily complete with the part recommendation. Ensure the mechanic raises the list of part recommended accurately to address all backlog, breakdowns and planned maintenance.
  • Ensure all break down machine are reported in OCDC, and all information repair description, coding, start and finish have been filled in OCDC correctly.
  • Prepare parts equipment and manpower for planned work and shutdown days, Ensure all repairs are carried out in an effective cost and timely manner.
  • Investigation and reporting of all accident damage to all equipment in the field and associated area, this is included with the operator abuse.
  • Make a safe working environment for all employees by ensuring all activities are carry out according to the work procedures in the Company Management System, JSEAs are relevant and all hazards are controlled.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Monitor NDT crack testing on big digger, Cracks inspection and follow up repair as required; Monitoring NDT crack testing on all dump Trucks, crack inspection checks prior units servicing and recorded in system and follow up repair as required;
  • To ensure do Bucket crack inspection and GET on big digger at mining rest time;
  • Monitor Small digger Bucket, Blade on Dozers NDT test and follow up replacement or repair schedule;
  • Ensure that the correct work procedures are used for Cracks repairs and keep good quality of repairs; Monitor and maintain importance all welding and electrical tools keep it good condition and replacement is requiring if necessary and proper use; ensure all welding machines are in good working order and condition; ensure all oxy acet sets and hoses in good conditions including flash back arresters and all oxy acet equipment; ensure all welding PPE is worn and in good condition; monitor welding consumables and maintain stocks.

What skills and experience do you need?

  • Minimum Senior High School; Minimum 5 years' professional experience in similar role as Supervisor Welding in Heavy Equipment Maintenance Industry;
