Senior Drill & Blast Engineer (Supervisor Level)

Job responsibilities:

• Preparing drill & blast designs & schedules
• Ensuring drill & blast designs are completed before schedule requirement
• Liaising with technical and production personnel to ensure integration of drill & blast into rolling schedules;
• Coordinating contractors to execute the designs and plans for operational activity.
• Maintaining QAQC in regard to the implementation of the drill and blast plans.
• Monitoring blasting and operational performance and implement changes to improve performance
• Manage the stock take of explosive products
• Monthly reconciliations of Drill and Blast
• Preparing drill & blast budget.

Requirements include:

• A Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline

Notes: This is a permanent position that will work on 8 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
