The BRITMINDO GROUP is the leading mining consultancy in Indonesia, with expansion plans in S.E. Asia and Australia, and a growing team of more than 150 personnel.

BJU is providing a broader scope of Professional Mining Services with greater focus on long term projects that include   Mine Management, Operational Improvements, EPC for Coal and Mineral Processing, Coal Chain Management, Fixed and Mobile Plant  Maintenance, as well as routine and Technical Studies and Consultancy.

The Britmindo team includes qualified expatriate and Indonesian mining engineers, geologists and other key disciplines who work at Jakarta Head Office as well as the BJU Balikpapan office and various site locations throughout Indonesia.

Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for suitably qualified and professional candidates to fill the following positions:

 

1. PROJECT MANAGER – SITE PROJECT

Responsibilities:

• Lead the mining discipline, drive teamwork culture and performance to ensure sustainable growth and success by achieving key commercial, safety and business targets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineer
• Minimum 10  years of experiences in mining in similar role
• Preferably experience as KTT
• A proven talent for identification and management of opportunities and risks by overlaying contractual, financial, and technical awareness in a similar operating environment is essential.
• Having outstanding leadership credentials and the ability to drive results which will set the successful candidate apart from industry peers.
• Willing to work in extended hours to meet deadlines.
• Having comprehensive knowledge of mining management principles and practices.
• Having skills such as initiative, technical, problem solving, creative thinking, reporting communication  skill: written & verbal both in English and Indonesian, information monitoring, planning & organizing, attention to details, meeting facilitation and negotiation
• Preferably has  a “POU” Mining Indonesia competency certificate
• Strong commitment in safety     

 

2. PROJECT MANAGER GEOLOGY – HEAD OFFICE JAKARTA

Responsibilities:

• Manage Exploration project for client
• Manage geologist resource for exploration project
• Manage the development of the project by liaising with clien
• Monitor and control project time line and budget
• Prepare business proposal for exploration program upon request by the client
• Prepare Budget estimate for the project
• Conduct business meeting with client
• Prepare exploration result report for client
• Provide assistance an expertise to the client relating to exploration technical procedure  
• Assess the level of skill and knowledge of exploration geologist 

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Geology, with Minimum 8 years experience in coal mining industry covering coal exploration, geological modeling and resources assessment.
• Previous work as a consultant may be an advantage.
• Has good understanding on coal exploration drilling and sampling procedure.
• Has experience and capability to undertake a computerized geological modeling using MineScape or Minex software.
• Has good understanding on implementation of The JORC and/or KCMI Reporting Code.
• Has experience in project planning, budgeting and monitoring.
• Good English communication and reporting skills

 

3. PROJECT MANAGER MINING -  – HEAD OFFICE JAKARTA

Responsibilities:

• Manage mine planning project for the client
• Manage mine engineer resources for mine planning project
• Manage the development of the project by liaising with client
• Monitor and control project time line and budget
• Prepare business draft proposal for mine planning upon client request
• Prepare draft budget estimation for the project
• Conduct business meeting with the client
• Prepare mine planning report for the client
• Provide advice and recommendation of mine planning implementation

Requirements:

• Graduate Mining Engineer from reputable university
• A minimum of 8  years experience in Mine Planning, working as a consultant is an advantages
• Capability to operating  Minescape or  Surpac software
• Previous management and supervisory experience in a production coal mine
• Has experience in project planning, budgeting and monitoring
• Having skills such as initiative, technical, problem solving, creative thinking, reporting communication  skill: written & verbal both in English and Indonesian, information monitoring, planning & organizing, attention to details, meeting facilitation and negotiation
• Ready to traveling  in remote areas

 

4. SR. MINE PLAN ENGINEER -  – HEAD OFFICE JAKARTA

Responsibilities:

• Prepare short and long term mine plan  ( production and project)
• Prepare periodic  reports and  production reconciliation as required
• Actively  contribute to  positive teamwork
• Communicate openly and honestly at all times

Requirements:

• Graduate Mining Engineer
• A minimum of 5  years experience in Mine Planning
• Capability to operating  Minescape or  Surpac software
• Previous management and supervisory experience in a production coal mine
• Ready to traveling  in remote areas

 

5. SHE OFFICER – SITE PROJECT

Responsibilities:

• Provide HS&E management information, advice and assistance to all staff to ensure safe, healthy and accident free work environments and the compliance with the company HS&E policy and procedures and legislative requirements.
• Remain all elements of OHS&E (including project elements) to improve safety performance.
• Actively contribute to a positive teamwork environment at all times.
• Communicate openly and honestly at all times.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in engineering or similar discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Have knowledge in legislative and statutory requirements.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal, both in English and Bahasa.
• Computer literate.
