Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager – Finance

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly management report, includes performing variance analysis. This includes preparing and posting journal entries into SAP;
• Responsible for treasury function such as review payment voucher, 3-way matching, review eBanking instruction note etc, ensuring payments are within the approved budget (budget monitoring);
• Responsible for communication with banking personnel on bank related matters, i.e. opening bank accounts, changing of bank authorised signatories, foreign currency payment and any other payment related matters;
• Responsible for preparing of Bank Indonesia reporting requirement, i.e. SIUL, KPPK etc
• Review and control for petty cash disbursement / reconciliation
• Prepare and review of tax payment and tax filing, inclusive of VAT, WHT, CIT etc
• Provide guidance to team member
• Liaise with internal & external auditor  
• Active communication with other department (i.e. HR, operation, site, head office etc) during the day-to-day duties
• Manage and monitor cash flow position from time to time
• Handle the above functions for 1 plantation company and 1 property investment company
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as and when requested

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting
• 3 years or more working experience
• Proficient with MS Office, knowledge in SAP is an added advantage
• Good planning and organizational skills and be able to multi-task
• Independent and self-discipline
• Good command of English, both written and oral communication skills
• Dedicated, committed and responsible
• Prepare to work extra hours during peak period, i.e. month-end and quarter closing
• Working premise located in Jakarta, with small and simple setup in harmony environment
